Booking a place confirms you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

1. Booking and Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. A place is confirmed once payment has cleared.
The fee covers tuition, supervision from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and the final-day performance.

2. Attendance Times
Drop-off: 8:30 am – 9:00 am
Pick-up: 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Collection outside these times incurs a charge of $20 per 15 minutes (minimum $20).
Please text 0426 529 735 if you anticipate a delay.

3. Cancellations and Transfers
Cancellations made 10 days or more before the first day: full refund.
Cancellations made 2–9 days before the first day: no refund, but credit or transfer available (written notice required).
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the start: no refund or transfer unless the place is re-filled.

4. Behaviour and Safety
Participants must follow staff instructions and venue rules at all times.
GCYTA may dismiss any child whose behaviour endangers others. In such cases, no refund or credit will be given.

5. Assumption of Risk and Liability
Drama, dance, and related activities carry inherent risks. Parents or guardians accept these risks on the student’s behalf.
GCYTA, its staff, volunteers, contractors, and venue owners are released from liability for injury, loss, or damage, except where Australian law requires otherwise.
GCYTA holds public liability insurance; this does not replace personal medical or property coverage.

6. Medical, Neurodivergence, and Special Needs
Mandatory disclosure: provide complete, current details of all medical conditions, allergies, medications, diagnoses (e.g., autism, ADHD), and behavioural support needs before the first day.
Supply action plans and medications in writing and hand them to staff upon arrival.
Information is confidential and shared only with staff caring for the child.
Report unsafe conduct or conditions to Kellie Rossiter (Director).

7. Additional Support
GCYTA operates on a group-based staffing ratio and cannot guarantee one-to-one supervision.
If a child requires higher support, families may arrange for a qualified support worker to attend at no extra cost.
If adequate support is not provided, GCYTA may request that the child be collected for the safety of all participants. In such cases, no refund or credit will be given.

8. Food and Allergies
Children must bring their own meals and water. Food sharing is not permitted.

9. Personal Property
Label all belongings. GCYTA is not responsible for loss or damage.

10. Photography and Video
GCYTA may photograph or film sessions and the performance for promotional use.
To withhold consent, email info@gcyta.com.au before the first day.

11. Force Majeure
If the workshop is cancelled due to events beyond GCYTA’s control, a rescheduled date or credit will be offered; refunds are at GCYTA’s discretion.
