Terms and Conditions for Ticket Sales - Oktoberfest Event
1. Introduction: These Terms and Conditions govern the sale and use of tickets for the Oktoberfest event organized by The Rhein-Donau Club Inc. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
2. Ticket Purchase:2.1 Eligibility: Tickets are available for purchase to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. This is strictly an over 18+ event. 2.2 Ticket Availability: Tickets are subject to availability and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. 2.3 Ticket Limits: There may be a maximum limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased per person or per transaction. 2.4 Ticket Prices: Ticket prices are set by the organizers and are inclusive of any applicable taxes or fees.
3. Ticket Sales 3.1 Online Sales: Tickets may be purchased online through our official website or authorized ticketing platforms. 3.2 In-person Sales: Tickets may also be available for purchase in-person at designated locations as determined by the organizers. 3.3 Payment: Payment for tickets must be made in full at the time of purchase and can be made using authorized payment methods. 3.4 Confirmation: Upon successful completion of the ticket purchase, you will receive a confirmation email or receipt. This confirmation must be presented at the event entrance for admission.
4. Ticket Usage 4.1 Validity: Each ticket is valid for one person's entry to the Oktoberfest event on the specified date and time. 4.2 Member Tickets: Tickets purchased at the “Member” price will have to show their current Rhein Donau Club membership card at the door. Failing to do so will result in payment of the remainder “Guest” ticket price. Member tickets are only valid for the current member, NOT THEIR GUESTS. Your membership for your current year has to be paid by the 31st of August to receive the Membership price. 4.3 Non-transferable: Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold or transferred to another person without the explicit consent of the organizers. 4.4 Lost or Stolen Tickets: Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced or refunded. 4.5 Non-attendance: Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance 4.6 Valid ID: Valid identification may be required at the event entrance to verify the age and identity of the ticket holder.
5. Event Rules and Regulations 5.1 Behaviour: All attendees are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully towards others at the event. Any disruptive, abusive, or illegal behaviour may result in expulsion from the event without refund. 5.2 Compliance: Attendees must comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the event organizers and venue staff. 5.3 Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited at the event: weapons, illegal substances, outside food or beverages, glass containers, and any other items deemed dangerous or disruptive by the organizers. 5.4 Health and Safety: Attendees must adhere to any health and safety guidelines or protocols as outlined by the organizers and venue staff, including but not limited to COVID-19-related guidelines. 5.5 Dress code: Appropriate footwear (no thongs) is required for the safety of the ticket holder, otherwise entry will not be permitted, and ticket will not be refunded. 5.6 Photography and Filming: By attending the event, you grant the organizers the right to capture and use your likeness, image, or voice in promotional materials without compensation.
6. Cancellation or Postponement 6.1 Organizer's Discretion: The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond their control. 6.2 Refunds: In the event of cancellation, ticket holders may be eligible for a refund according to the refund policy determined by the organizers. Refunds will usually be issued using the original method of payment.
7. Limitation of Liability 7.1 Event Organizer: The event organizers, venue, and their respective affiliates, partners, and staff shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or expense incurred by ticket holders at the event, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 7.2 Personal Belongings: Attendees are responsible for the security and safety of their personal belongings during the event.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
By purchasing a ticket for the Oktoberfest event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Refund Policy for Oktoberfest Perth:
1. Ticket Refunds: 1.1. General Tickets: General tickets are refundable up to 48hours before the event date. Refund requests made after this period will not be accepted. 1.2. Staggered Refund Fees apply.
2. Refund fees: 2.1.Member tickets. Refund fees apply as followed: a) From date of booking until 1 week before the booked event date: a refund fee of $5 per ticket applies. b) From 1 week until 48hrs before the booked event date: a refund fee of $10 per tickets applies. c) No refunds for cancellations made less than 48hrs before the event date
2.2.Non Member Tickets. Refund fees apply as followed: a) From date of booking until 2 weeks before the booked event date: a refund fee of $5 per ticket applies. b) From 2 week until 48hrs before the booked event date: a refund fee of $10 per ticket applies. c) No refunds for cancellations made less than 48hrs before the event date
3. Event Cancellation: 3.1. In the unlikely event that Oktoberfest Perth is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, extreme weather conditions, or any other reasons beyond our control, all ticket holders will be entitled to a refund. Refunds will be processed within 28 business days of the event's official cancellation announcement.3.2. The Refund amount is at the discretion of the event holder.
4. Refund Requests: 4.1. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to our office at admin@rheindonau.com.au, via telephone 08 9330 6488 or in person during office hours (Mo-Fr 10-3pm). The email must include the ticket holder's full name, order number, and reason for the refund request. 4.2. Refund requests will be reviewed, and eligibility will be determined based on the terms mentioned in this policy. 4.3. Refunds will be normally issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If the payment method is no longer valid, the ticket holder must provide an alternative payment method to receive the refund.
5. Event Changes: 5.1. In the event of a significant change to Oktoberfest Perth's location, date, or major program modifications, ticket holders will be notified via email or on our official website. Depending on the nature of the change, ticket holders may be eligible for a refund or provided with the option to attend the event as rescheduled.
6. No-show Policy: 6.1. Refunds will not be issued for ticket holders who fail to attend the event without prior notice or cancellation.
7. Refund Processing: 7.1. Once a refund request is approved, refunds will be processed within 20 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in the ticket holder's account, depending on the payment method and the issuing bank.
