The Decorating Lounge – Terms & Conditions - Applicable to all events, decorating workshops, private bookings, and parties
1. Booking & Payment
    •    Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
    •    Bookings are non-transferable without prior approval from The Decorating Lounge.
    •    We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, a full refund or credit will be offered.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
    •    Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event are eligible for a full refund or credit.
    •    Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable unless it is re-sold.
    •    No-shows are not eligible for refunds or credits.
    •    If you cannot attend, you may send someone in your place—please let us know in advance.
3. BYO Food & Drink
    •    Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and nut-free snacks.
    •    Alcohol consumption is at the guest’s own discretion and risk. Please drink responsibly. We are not a licensed venue.
    •    Charcuterie boards are available for pre-purchase only and must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to the event.
4. Event Participation
    •    All events are suitable for beginners—no decorating experience required!
    •    Children under 16 must have their own ticket and be accompanied by a participating adult unless otherwise specified.
    •    All tools and equipment are provided for use during the session and must be returned in good condition.
    •    Guests are responsible for any damage caused to studio property or equipment.
5. Photos & Social Media
    •    The Decorating Lounge may take photos or videos during events for marketing and social media.
    •    By attending, you consent to being photographed unless you notify us otherwise in writing prior to the event.
    •    You’re welcome (and encouraged!) to share your own photos and tag us @thedecoratinglounge 🎉
6. Health & Safety
    •    Please follow staff instructions at all times for your safety and the enjoyment of all guests.
    •    Anyone behaving inappropriately, intoxicated, or disruptive may be asked to leave without refund.
7. Private Events & Group Bookings
    •    Custom terms may apply for private parties and group bookings, including deposit requirements and minimum guest numbers.
    •    Please contact us directly to confirm event details and terms for private hire.
