Terms and Conditions for Live Stand-Up Comedy Night
1. Event Organiser: a. The live stand-up comedy night ("Event") is Organised by Brisbane Vets RLFC
("Organiser"). b. The Event will take place at Warner Tavern, 2 Everest St, Warner QLD 4500 on 01/02/2025.
2. Subcontractor Responsibilities: a. The Comedy Empire ("Subcontractor") is responsible for marketing design, sound, stage lighting, and providing the comedians for the Event.
3. Ticketing and Admission: a. Tickets are available for purchase through authorised channels specified by the Organiser. b. All attendees must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise specified. c. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any attendee behaving inappropriately or disrupting the Event.
4. Performances: a. The Subcontractor will make reasonable efforts to ensure the advertised comedians perform at the Event. However, lineup changes may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. b. The content of performances is intended for mature audiences. Some content may offend. Attendees enter at their own discretion. c. By attending the event you are not permitted to post complaints online or speak to the media. All complaints must be forwarded directly to event organisers for resolution.
5. Health and Safety: a. Attendees must adhere to all health and safety protocols in place at the Venue, including but not limited to fire regulations, and emergency procedures. b. The Organiser and Subcontractor are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained during the Event, except where caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
6. Photography and Recording: a. Photography, video recording, or any form of audiovisual recording is strictly prohibited during the performances unless explicitly authorised by the Organiser. b. The Organiser reserves the right to use any photographs or recordings taken during the Event for promotional purposes.
7. Ticket Refunds and Exchanges: a. Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of Event cancellation. In such cases, refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe. b. Ticket exchanges may be permitted at the discretion of the Organiser and subject to availability.
8. Event Cancellation or Postponement: a. The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify the Event due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond their control. b. In the event of cancellation, the Organiser will provide notice to ticket holders and process refunds as per clause 7(a).
9. Liability: a. Attendees participate in the Event at their own risk. The Organiser and Subcontractor shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with the Event. b. The liability of the Organiser and Subcontractor shall be limited to the ticket price paid by the attendee.
10. Miscellaneous: a. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser, Subcontractor, and the attendee concerning the Event. b. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Queensland jurisdictions.
11. Acceptance: a. Attendees acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions by purchasing tickets to the Event.
