Terms & Conditions

Registration & Entry

Entry is free for registered attendees participating in any activities before 6:45pm.

Attendees arriving after 6:45pm or wanting to attend the party section of the event (Ausecuma Beats Live and Dj Glow) will be required to pay the standard entry fee, even if they have previously booked a free ticket. Tickets to the party can be booked at https://events.humanitix.com/kwabo-community-day-workshops-and-cultural-talk-kwabo-events/tickets

Tickets are not transferable and no refundable.

Event Participation

This event includes workshops, cultural activities, and storytelling. Participation is voluntary and at the attendee’s own discretion.

The program may change without prior notice.

Children & Minors

Children and young people under 18 are welcome but must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Some workshops or activities may have age recommendations. Event staff reserve the right to restrict participation for safety reasons.

Photography, Filming & Media

The event will be photographed, filmed, and/or recorded. By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, or voice in promotional, archival, or community storytelling purposes by Kwabo Events.

If you prefer not to appear in media, please notify staff on arrival.

Health, Safety & Conduct

Attendees must follow event staff directions at all times.

Kwabo is committed to a culturally safe and respectful environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

COVID-19 & Health: Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell, have flu-like symptoms, or have recently tested positive for COVID-19. This is to safeguard the health of our community, particularly children, elders, and vulnerable attendees.

The organisers may remove individuals who breach these terms.

Accessibility

The event strives to be inclusive and accessible. Please advise us in advance of any specific accessibility requirements.
Most of the activities will be conducted downstairs however the workshops and dinner will be held on the 1st and 2nd floors without access to elevator. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

Liability

Entry and participation are at your own risk. The organisers are not responsible for any personal loss, damage, or injury incurred.
