3. Venue Capacity Limits

4. Period Dress exclusions:

The event is to be conducted in a period theme, and whilst dressing up is not mandatory for general admission, you may be excluded from entry on Sunday to certain areas subject to dress codes. FOR 2024, it has been decreed that only patrons in period dress may enter the "Paddock", ie the pits and garages.

5. Early Bird Discounts

There are significant discounts for the purchase of early Bird Tickets offered to MG Car Club Member, Sponsors and general public - however all early bird discounts cease on Thursday February 15, 2024.

6. Car pooling

The site is restricted for the number of vehicles we can park, as well as the traffic volumes to and from the venue. The pricing of the car parking tickets is to specifically encourage car pooling.

7. Access & site mobility

Note, the Rob Roy Hillclimb grounds are spread over a large area and the terrain is undulating and hilly by nature. We will make best endeavors to allow disabled drop off and parking near entrances and also disabled toilet facilities will be available. However we remind all that the pathways and lawns are generally on an incline as well as there may be uneven ground to traverse which could be challenging for some.

A general level of fitness is required to walk the venue. We recommend bringing a carer if you need personal assistance as our volunteers cannot provide individual personal assistance. If you are using mobility aids, please contact us to discuss the suitability of these aids and where they can traverse.

If you have any doubts about this, please contact us first to ensure we can accommodate your needs.

8. Authorised viewing and general admittances locations

The venue has a significant amount of land which is not accessible to the general public, from the track, near track, out of bounds areas for officials access only. Please obey all signage.

You are encouraged to walk through the pits (subject to ress code), get up close in the approved viewing areas, however refrain from going to prohibited areas for your safety. If a volunteer marshall, safety or security officer instructs you to move, please follow their instructions. Failure do to so can lead to ejection from the venue. This is very serious.

9. Respect

Marshalls
We expect all members of the public invited to our venue from competitors , volunteers or ticket holders to follow Motorsport Australia conduct policy for respect to our volunteer marshalls. They are there to assist you, and whilst volunteers they are duly authorized to act for the safety of everyone in attendance. If you are asked by a marshall to comply with rules, or asked to wait for traffic control measures in the movement of cars, please respect these marshalls who are doing everything with your safety in mind. Say thank you if you like, however failure to follow their instructions can ultimately lead to exclusion of the event. Our volunteers are not paid, may have been volunteering all weekend, and are at Rob Roy for the love of the Club and Venue. We may make mistakes, if so, please enquire politely at the office and we will do everything we can to asisst if reasonable.

Environment
Our environment is adjacent to a nature reserve and State Park, and also close to the Sugarloaf reservoir. Please respect our venue, use recycling and rubbish receptacles as appropriate and do not litter. During the year on non event days, wildlife visit our paddocks and we wish to care for the fauna and flora and ask you respect the land.

10. Alcohol

Whilst there will be no alcohol available for competitors, it is expected there will be local producers showcasing the regions wines and beers (subject to permits). Should alcohol be served, it will be restricted to certain areas only, away from the track and also our RSA Officers supervision. Whilst it is intended for everyone to have an enjoyable day, drinking alcohol outside of nominated areas or excess consumption will not be tolerated and event security will automatically ask you to leave should the RSA Officer direct this.

No alcohol may be brought into the venue due to liquor supervision laws.

Police often attend our events, and we also be monitoring terms of any liquor license conditions.

11. Damage in Caparking or access roads

The organizer and MG Car Club Vic are not responsible to accidents in the car park or the access roads (ie other patrons accidentally hitting other cars, opening car doors into adjacent door panels). You are responsible for driving and parking your car and carrying insurance in the case of accidents.
