City of Whittlesea Youth Service runs programs and activities for young people across the age range of 10 - 25. Our programs often have a specific age range, please check the individual program requirements and age range to ensure your child is within the age range for the particular program.

Bookings for our activities, events, and programs are made online only (unless specified otherwise) and places are limited with a waitlist enabled. You can be added to a waitlist, but there are no guarantees you will get a place.

General Information:

1. All City of Whittlesea Youth Workers are fully qualified youth workers. All our Youth Workers have a first aid certificate.
First Aid kits will be carried at all times. 

2. There will be a minimum of one staff member to every ten participants.

3. Staff are not responsible for young people outside the advertised activity time or if they are signed out.

4. Participants will be responsible for their own belongings, including money and valuables at each activity.
City of Whittlesea will not be held responsible for the loss or misuse of property.

5. Youth Services reserves the right to cancel all activities subject to weather conditions and low booking numbers.

6. City of Whittlesea Youth Services often take photographs/videos of young people to use for promotional purposes such as social media,
website, and council publications. If you do not consent to Youth Services using photographic/video footage for these purposes, please let
us know when booking.

Specific Needs and Accessibility:
City of Whittlesea Youth Services aim to provide an inclusive service for young people. If your young person requires support to participate in our activities, events, and programs, please contact youth services below prior to booking into the program. *Please note, support workers will need to provide a valid WWCC.

Parent/Guardian Attendance:
Our activities are for young people only within the specified age range, our programs are not open for parent or guardian attendance – unless otherwise stated. We understand that some young people may have worries and concerns about attending programs without a parent or guardian nearby. If you feel this will be a barrier to your child being able to access our programs, please don’t hesitate to contact us below to discuss your situation further.

Privacy Notification:
City of Whittlesea Council is collecting this information for the purpose of registering your child for youth service programs. The information will be used for administration purposes and to contact you in the event of an emergency but will not be disclosed to any other party except as required by law. If you fail to provide this information, your information may not be processed, and your child may not be permitted to attend the program. You may access this information by contacting us below
