Tasmanian Dance Expo – Ticketing Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticket holders of the Tasmanian Dance Expo (TDE), August 14–16, 2026, at Wrest Point, Hobart, Tasmania. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the policies outlined below.
Refund Policy
If you cancel your ticket on or before May 1, 2026, you will receive a 50% refund of the ticket price.
For cancellations made after June 1, 2026, no refunds will be provided for any ticket type.
In the event of a cancellation due to COVID-19 restrictions, your ticket will be automatically transferred to TDE 2027. This transfer is at the discretion of the Directors.
No refunds will be issued for patrons who contract COVID-19 prior to or during the event.
From July 1, 2026, no cancellations, changes, or refunds will be accepted.
Change Policy
Ticket changes (e.g. name updates, age division adjustments) are subject to Director or Committee approval.
A $10 administration fee may apply to changes.

Model Release & Use of Imagery
By attending the Tasmanian Dance Expo, you consent to and grant TDE, its sponsors, and supporters the right to:
Capture and use photographs, video, and promotional materials featuring your likeness.
Publish these images across marketing channels, including social media, websites, and print, without compensation.
Limitations on Liability
Participation in all Workshops, Competitions, and Gala events is at your own risk.
Tasmanian Dance Expo, its Directors, staff, volunteers, instructors, committee members, and Wrest Point staff are not responsible for:
Any personal injury sustained during the event.
Any loss, damage, or theft of personal property while attending the event or while on venue premises.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
