Torrumbarry Levee Trek 2025 – Terms & Conditions of Entry

By registering or participating in the Torrumbarry Levee Trek, you agree to the following rules, terms, and conditions.

All participants must register to take part in the Trek. Registration is required for catering purposes. While registrations will be accepted on the day, catering numbers are limited and only pre-registered participants are guaranteed lunch. Participants must check in at the administration tent before starting.

The Trek will be held on Sunday, 19th October, starting at 9:00am from the Torrumbarry Weir. Event staff will provide maps and directions, and participants must remain on the designated route at all times. The event will proceed in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe by organisers.

All participants take part at their own risk. Participants are responsible for being physically prepared and carrying adequate water, sun protection, and any personal medications. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. First aid will be available, but organisers accept no responsibility for injury, illness, or medical incidents. Parts of the Trek take place on or alongside public roads, and vehicles may access these areas at any time. Participants must remain alert, give way to vehicles where required, and accept the risks associated with walking near traffic. The Torrumbarry Community Club and event organisers accept no responsibility for personal injury, loss, or damage, theft of belongings, or damage to vehicles, equipment, or property. Participants indemnify organisers, officials, volunteers, and sponsors against any claims arising from their participation. The organisers may refuse entry or remove any participant considered unfit, unsafe, or in breach of these conditions.

This is a family-friendly community event. Participants must respect others, volunteers, and the environment. No littering is permitted – please use bins or carry your waste out. No alcohol or drugs are allowed. For the safety and comfort of all participants, pets are not permitted.

By entering, you consent to the use of your image in photos or videos taken during the event. These may be used by the Torrumbarry Community Club for promotional, media, or community purposes without compensation. If you do not wish to appear in media, you must notify event staff in writing before the event.

Any disputes must be made in writing at the administration tent prior to the awards and winners announcements. The committee’s decision is final.

By entering the Torrumbarry Levee Trek, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
