Skunkworks Community — Bright Brass and Percussion Summer Intensive
Terms & Conditions (Effective for Summer Intensive 2026)
1. Organiser Contact

Venue: Bright Chalet, Delaney Ave, Bright, VIC
Dates: Sunday 4 January – Sunday 11 January 2026.

2. Eligibility, applications & acceptance
Applicants must meet the Program’s stated age/skill requirements and supply any requested audition recordings or information. Placement may be subject to a selection process. Offers are made at the discretion of the Program directors.

3. Fees, payment and late payments
Fees for the Program are published on the Program webpage. Payment in full is required by December 4th
If fees are not paid by the due date, the place may be withdrawn.

4. Refund and cancellation policy
Requests for refunds must be made in writing before the published deadline. No refunds are provided after the deadline except for approved medical reasons. If Skunkworks Community cancels the Program, full refunds of Program fees will be given.

5. Program changes and force majeure
Skunkworks Community may make reasonable changes to the published program, personnel, timetable, or repertoire.
Skunkworks Community is not liable for events outside
its control (e.g., extreme weather, public health orders).

6. Child safety, supervision and code of conduct
All staff, tutors and volunteers hold Working With Children Checks or have VIT registration.
Participants must comply with the Program Code of Conduct. Bullying, harassment, violence, substance misuse or illegal activity may result in removal without refund.

7. Health, medical and medication
Participants must disclose medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, and emergency contacts at the time of application. Parents/guardians must provide labelled medication with written instructions where applicable.

8. Accommodation and supervision
Residential attendees must observe all accommodation rules and curfews.

9. Equipment, instruments and property
Participants are responsible for bringing their own instruments and accessories.
Skunkworks Community provides shared percussion equipment. Participants should insure personal instruments; Skunkworks Community is not liable for loss or damage.

10. Photography, video and recordings
Skunkworks Community may photograph, record audio and/or video at rehearsals and for promotional and archival purposes. Consent is assumed unless a written opt-out is received prior to the Program.

11. Privacy and data
Skunkworks Community collects personal information for Program administration only.
Personal information is handled in accordance with privacy laws.

12. Travel, pickups and drop-offs
Transport to and from the venue is the responsibility of participants/parents unless otherwise stated.

13. Intellectual property and program materials
Music scores and rehearsal tracks are for personal study and must not be reproduced, distributed, or published without permission.

14. Liability and insurance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Skunkworks Community is not liable for loss, damage or injury sustained by participants, except where caused by proven negligence. Participants are encouraged to hold personal insurance.

15. Complaints and disputes
Complaints should be submitted in writing to contacttheskunk@gmail.com and will be handled under Skunkworks’ Community complaints policy.

16. Photography, social media and respectful communications
Participants must behave respectfully online. Posting images or comments that harass or demean others is not permitted.

17. Acceptance of terms
By applying for or attending the Program, participants (or their parent/guardian) confirm they have read, understood, and accept these Terms.

18. Amendments
Skunkworks Community may update these Terms. The version current on the Program webpage at the time of application applies.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
