PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
If you do not have Public Liability Insurance, you will need to organise insurance for the day. Refunds will not be given to those who do not have insurance.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cancel your stall within 4 weeks of the Festival, no refunds will be provided. The cut of date for cancellations with a refund is midnight, 15 February 2026.
SITE ALLOCATION:
Stalls will be allocated at the discretion of the Celebrate Mooroolbark Committee to ensure the best flow for the festival.
While we strive to accommodate everyone, we cannot guarantee specific locations.
As per Yarra Ranges Council rules, pegs are not allowed on council land. Weights, sandbags, water containers are allowed.
CASH HANDLING:
All stallholders must make their own provision for cash handling. There are no facilities available on site.
OH&S:
Festival volunteers will be conducting safety inspections before the market begins. All stallholders will be required to complete an OHS checklist to be sighted by our volunteers before trading can commence. Failure to comply with safety requests may result in your stall being cancelled on the day. Refunds will not be given.
RISK ASSESSMENT PLAN:
All food vendors must provide their own risk assessment plan which includes testing and tagging of all electrical leads and appliances.
PARKING:
Stall holders are welcome to unload vehicles at Hookey Park.
Once unloaded, all stall holders must move their vehicles to the station car park. The cut off time to move your vehicle is 9am.
No parking is allowed at the Terrace Car Park as that is allocated for the Classic Car Show.
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY:
Key points to note:
Celebrate Mooroolbark has a NO BALLOONS policy.
Consider alternatives such as bunting, bubbles or flags.
We appreciate if you could reduce the use of unnecessary packaging waste on the day post your set up. We encourage the use of compostable/biodegradable materials.
We strongly discourage plastic bags
WEATHER:
In the event of extreme weather conditions, the event may be altered to suit conditions.
In the unfortunate event that cancellation takes place, registration and insurance fees will NOT be refunded.
Food Trucks: We strongly recommend that Food Trucks pre-apply for a fire permit in case of a Total Fire Ban day. Failure to have this permit on the day means you will not be allowed to trade. No refunds will be given with a failure to comply with this requirement.
