Groove Nation – Key Information for Parents
We’re excited to welcome your child into a Groove Nation Program. Please read the key points below so you know how our Programs work.
Enrolment and Fees
Enrolment is for the full Program (not casual week-to-week).
Fees must be paid in full by the due date (usually before the first class).
Payments are made through our secure online payment system. Some payment methods may have extra fees.
Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law or if Groove Nation cancels a class and it cannot be rescheduled.
Late payments may attract an admin fee and interest.
Attendance and Class Changes
If your child misses a class, fees for that class are forfeited.
If the School requests a class change and you cannot attend the new time, fees are forfeited.
If Groove Nation reschedules and no suitable date can be agreed, we will refund or credit the fee for that class.
Programs may run in person or online (as decided by your School).
Maximum Numbers
Some groups are capped at 30 Students due to venue or supervision limits.
If your child misses out on a place, they may be placed on a waitlist.
Media and Photos
Photos and videos may be taken by event organisers or Groove Nation during classes and performances.
You will be asked at the time of booking if you give permission for Groove Nation to use images of your child for marketing.
Safety and Behaviour
We want every Student to feel safe, respected and included.
Parents are not permitted in dressing rooms or preparation areas.
Students are expected to participate safely, respectfully and with a positive attitude.
Groove Nation will not tolerate bullying, abuse, intimidation, harassment, discrimination or unsafe behaviour by Students, Parents or Guardians.
Non-compliance may result in removal from the Program.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure your child is fit and able to take part in physical activity.
Arrange supervision for your child before and after class times.
Provide accurate and up-to-date contact details.
Be responsible for any damage your child causes to property or equipment.
Ending Enrolment
Groove Nation may end a Student’s enrolment if fees remain unpaid, safety is compromised, or behaviour is unacceptable.
You may cancel your child’s enrolment in writing, but no refunds are given for the unused portion of the Program.
Liability
Groove Nation takes care to provide a safe environment, but participation is at your own risk.
Groove Nation is not responsible for injury, loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.
If liability arises, our responsibility is limited to re-supply of the Program or a refund of the relevant fees.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
