Definitions
“Event” means the 2025 Call of the Card as organised by Racing Victoria Limited ABN 88 096 917 930.

Method of Payment
Full payment is required to confirm bookings. No booking will be confirmed until payment is received.
Should you not be able to pay via credit card, please email events@racingvictoria.net.au for further details.

Cancellation
If you are no longer able to attend the Event, tickets can be transferred to another guest. Please email details to events@racingvictoria.net.au
If you are unable to arrange a transfer, a full refund less an administration charge of AUD$50 will be made provided notification is received prior to 20 October 2025. Cancellations received after 20 October 2025 are not eligible for a refund.

Booking Conditions
• Racing Victoria reserves the right to deny entry and/or terminate the attendance of any person who demonstrates behaviour that is deemed to be inappropriate and/or a risk to others. Guests must also follow all lawful and reasonable directions of Racing Victoria and venue staff which are designed to create a safe environment for all.
• Bookings received by Racing Victoria will not be considered as confirmed unless full payment has been received.
• While attending the Event, you agree that you may be photographed and/or filmed. By purchasing a ticket for the Event you consent to be included in any audio recordings, audio-visual recordings and photographs of the Event created by, at the direction of, or with the authority of Racing Victoria (“Materials”). In the event that you hold any rights in the Materials, without any fee or compensation payable to you, you licence and grant Racing Victoria (including its affiliates and sub-licensees) a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display the Materials (including any portion of the Materials owned, controlled or created by you) in any context and for any purpose, including but not limited to advertising, marketing, promotional or publicity purposes (whether in respect of Racing Victoria, the venue or third parties), in any and all media now known or later devised absolutely, in perpetuity, throughout the world without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability and free from any claims whatsoever from you. You consent to any use of the Materials (including any portion of the Materials owned, controlled or created by you) which may otherwise infringe your moral rights pursuant to the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) or other similar rights in respect of your performance or participation in the Materials you may be entitled to under the laws of any jurisdiction throughout the world in perpetuity and warrant that you have the full authority to grant these rights.

Disclaimer
Racing Victoria:
• Is not responsible for any cancellations of bookings for any reason, including cancellation or postponement of the Event or for theft, loss or damage to personal belongings, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Guests accept their own risk for attendance at the Event.
• Is not responsible for injury or damage to a person, or their property, occurring during the Event to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• Reserves the right to change the Event at any time, with updates provided to guests.


Where liability cannot be excluded by law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law), the maximum liability that Racing Victoria will have to any guest under any circumstances is the face value of the ticket.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under any similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Racing Victoria (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Event.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
