TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SALE OF TICKETS
FRIENDS OF THE MECHANICS INSTITUTE LAWSON INC. (The Event Organiser)
THE EVENT- HOMAGE TO ROGER FRAMPTON at THE MIL with GARY DALEY QUINTET
Sunday 26 October 2025
1. Your ticket or receipt is proof of purchase of the above event and must be presented at the time of admission. You may be asked to provide proof of identity at the time of admission should there be any discrepancy.
2. There are no allocated numbered seats. There are approximately 160 seats. We reserve certain seats for our members which are at various positions in the hall. A reserved sign will appear on those seats. Any dispute about seating is resolved in the sole discretion of the event organiser.
3. Evidence of proof enabling a particular discounted class of ticket, [eg. Pensioner; youth, student, child etc] is a condition of entry on that ticket class and must be presented to the ticket officers at the venue prior to the event. If evidence is not produced to satisfy us, the full price must be paid.
4. Subject to clause 6 below, Refunds are not possible. We encourage you to gift your tickets as they are transferable or see that sum as a donation to the FRIENDS OF THE MECHANICS INSTITUTE LAWSON INC.
5. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund (Except for the booking fee) will be issued to all patrons within 14 calendar days of the date of notification of the cancellation of the event. In such circumstances the Event Organiser or its officers will not be held responsible for any consequential loss to patrons arising from the cancellation of the event.
6. The Event Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any person if they are intoxicated or disruptive to other patrons as determined by the event organiser.
7. This ticket may be valid as a tax invoice or receipt in the case of registrations or other event payments however the Even Organiser is not for profit and not registered for GST.
8. This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site, and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking.com. Any booking fee is payable to Try Booking at time of ticket purchase and is in addition to the ticket price. Patrons agree that they have read those conditions.
9. As the Event Organiser hosting this event, FRIENDS OF THE MECHANICS INSTITUTE LAWSON INC is solely responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets.
10. Latecomers are required to wait to be seated at a suitable break by ushers unless otherwise arranged by the event organiser

11.15 am Doors open to public. Drinks/snacks available
11.30 am Welcome by FOTMIL President John Sheehy and introduction by Australian jazz historian Bruce Johnson
DOCUMENTARY FILM
11.40 am The documentary film starts at 11.40 am.
12.55 pm The film finishes. (approximately)
12.55pm Short Q & A session with Dr Emily Rytmeister Associate Lecturer – Communications BA (TV Production), Grad Dip (Writing), MA (Creative Writing), MRes, PhD School of Humanities and Communication Arts, Western Sydney University
INTERVAL
1.10pm Lunch and refreshments available to purchase.[1.10 to 2pm]

Part 1- Music
2.00 pm Live performance Part 1 starts-GARY DALEY QUINTET.[2pm to 2.45pm]
INTERVAL
2.45pm Interval- refreshments [2.45-3pm]
Part 2- Music
3.00pm Live performance Part 2 starts -Gary Daley Quintet- Part 2 [3pm to 3.45]
3.45pm End of live music performance.
11. The event organiser reserves the right to amend the timetable on the evening.
12. The ticket price does NOT include food or refreshments, which are on sale at the event.
13. Alcohol and food will be available for sale at the event and Patrons are prohibited from bringing their own.
14. Any persons who are disruptively noisy, drunk, threatening or engages in unruly behaviour (“unacceptable conduct”) will be asked to behave according to the direction of the event organiser and if they do not behave after the second warning they will leave the Premises on demand by the event organiser and if they do not leave they will be regarded as trespassers and police or security will be called to escort them from the premises. Those patrons who continue to engage in unacceptable conduct after two warnings will be subject to civil action for any damage or monetary loss suffered by the Event Organiser arising from their unacceptable conduct.
15. The event organiser only has all rights to film, photo and video production of this event.
16. Patrons must abide by any direction by the event organiser to cease filming or taking photos.
17. Any data collected for marketing purposes from this event will be strictly in accordance with the PRIVACY AND PERSONAL INFORMATION PROTECTION ACT 1998 (NSW)
