Please do not attend any activity if;

1. You or your children are unwell

2. Have been in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID in the past 30 days

3. Are awaiting a COVID test result

4. Have been instructed to self-isolate in the past 30 days.

Terms and CONDITIONS

BY MAKING THIS BOOKING you are accepting the physically active nature and inherent risk to my child/children when involved in HCC Bush Adventures and agree not to hold the Hobart City Council, its agents, servants or employee liable for any claims, costs, actions or demands arising from my child/children participating in the Bush Adventures Program.

OUR ACTIVITIES are nature-based recreational activities run by the Hobart City Council in bushland reserves, on local beaches, in parks and occasionally in indoor venues. Our activities incorporate walks, games, races and other tasks which can be physically demanding in environments which may include a range of inherent dangers such as: Loose, slippery or uneven ground; falling or obtruding tree branches, weather extremes, and unexpected changes; minor bites and stings; and occasional traffic on roads providing access to reserves.

OUR STAFF make every reasonable effort to minimise exposure to such dangers. All staff are qualified in First Aid, trained in the delivery of interpretive programs and experienced group management.

ACTIVITIES MAY BE CANCELLED in the event of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Events will ALWAYS be cancelled where the Bureau of Meteorology has issued a 'Severe Weather Warning for the South East Region. All booked participants will be notified via text or email in the case of cancellation. A refund or credit will be given if this occurs.

FOR ALL ACTIVITIES please bring a drink of water and healthy snack. Always wear clothing suitable for the environment and conditions.

CHILDREN can only be booked into Bush Adventures programs suitable to their age. For our Bush Kids program, out-of-age siblings can attend without charge. We ask parents/guardians to be mindful of the enjoyment and engagement of others.
