Holiday Class Terms & Conditions – Dance Theatre of Orange
By enrolling your child in Dance Theatre of Orange’s school holiday classes, you agree to the following terms:
• Qualified Supervision & Safe Practice
All classes are taught by fully qualified and experienced dance instructors. We are committed to teaching safe dance practices and maintaining a supportive, inclusive environment for all participants.
• Liability
While all reasonable care is taken, Dance Theatre of Orange (DTO) accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents that may occur during classes or while on DTO premises.
• Refunds & Cancellations
All holiday workshop bookings are final. No refunds or credits will be issued for change of mind, missed sessions, illness, or withdrawal.
• Photos & Media
Photos or short videos may be taken during classes for promotional use. Children’s names will never be used or shared.
• Medical Conditions & Special Requirements
Parents/guardians must inform DTO of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs that may affect their child’s participation. DTO staff will respond to medical situations with due care, but do not administer medication unless pre-arranged.
• Supervision & Drop-off/Pick-up
The street entrance and waiting area are unsupervised. Parents are encouraged to accompany their child to the studio for drop off and collection. Children are required to be collected within the 10 minutes following the completion of their class.
• Behaviour & Participation
We encourage respectful and cooperative behaviour at all times. DTO reserves the right to remove any participant who is disruptive or disrespectful, without refund, to ensure the safety and enjoyment of others.
• Dress Code
Students should wear comfortable clothing suitable for movement (e.g. leggings and a t-shirt or singlet). For safety and in line with DTO’s values of age-appropriateness and modesty, crop tops are not permitted. Please ensure clothing allows freedom of movement and provides appropriate coverage. Ballet shoes may be worn for ballet classes (for those who own them). Clean bare feet are required for all other lessons.
• Personal Belongings
DTO is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please clearly label all personal belongings and avoid bringing valuables to the studio.
