Terms and Conditions of MCRC, Come N Try.

Definitions:
MCRC: Refers to the Moe City Rifle Club.
Participant: Refers to the person undertaking the instruction.
ESV: Emergency Services Victoria.
Prohibited person: Someone who is not permitted to possess, carry or use a firearm, as defined under the Victorian Firearms Act 1996.

Acceptance of bookings:
Bookings must be made at least 1 week prior to the course and online payment confirmed.
A booking must not be made by a participant, or on behalf of a participant, if the indented participant is a Prohibited Person as defined under the Victorian Firearms Act 1996.
Any booking for a person under the age of 18 must be made and submitted by their legal guardian.
Bookings made by persons under the age of 18 will not be accepted.

Cancelations, refunds & changes:
The MCRC reserves the right to cancel any booking without notice, (while all efforts will be made to contact the participant in the event of a cancelation; the MCRC accepts no liability for any cost that the participant may incur as a result other than refunding of the original booking fee).
Where the MCRC has cancelled a booking without notice; full restitution of funds or a booking reschedule will be provide to the participant.
A booking may be cancelled by a participant for any reason; providing there is no less than 24hr notice provided to MCRC prior to the course commencement. Cancelations must be made via Ph or email.
Where a participant has cancelled a booking in line with the T &C the refund amounts will be based on the full amount paid minus any costs incurred by the MCRC, (Refunds will be made via electronic transfer only; the participant is responsible for providing account details).
Participants wishing to reschedule a booking can do so 24hr prior to the course commencement. The reschedule dates will be as mutually agreed between the participant and the MCRC.

Refusal of participants or bookings:
The MCRC reserves the right to refuse participants or bookings on the following grounds; The MCRC maintains that this right may not necessarily be restricted to these points alone.
The participant is a Prohibited Person as defined under the Victorian, Firearms Act 1996.
The participant has made and attended 6 prior bookings within the current calendar year.
Any participant under the age of 18 not accompanied by a legal guardian on the day of the course will not be permitted to participate.
Environmental considerations which include; inclement weather which at the discretion of the MCRC Club Captain is not considered suitable for shooting. A day of total fire ban restriction as identified by ESV, (Ref to Cancelations, refunds & changes).
Any intended booking not aligned to the shooting calendar, range schedule.
An intended booking that restricts existing MCRC member’s rightful access to the range.
An indented booking time, date or type, that is in contravention of the licensing requirements of the range.

Lability:
The participant acknowledges and accepts that the used and handling of a firearm requires full compliance with safety directives and instructions and if not followed, has the potential to result in serious injury or death. The participant is covered by MCRC indemnity while on the range. However the participant accepts all responsibility and liability in the event of a direct or deliberate violation of any and all safety directives or instructions on their part which may result in harm to themselves or others. The participant accepts that in the event of a deliberate or continued breach of any safety directives and instructions on their part, they will be require to leave the range.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
