Cancellation policy: In case of inclement weather, Wildcare reserves the right to change the venue, date of individual courses or cancel course, in this case refunds/credit for future courses will apply.

Course fees are not refundable for a no-show, if you are unable to meet course requirements, or for a change your mind.

Fitness requirements: The course requires a level of fitness and mobility to safely handle snakes. Participants must be able to bend and touch their toes, walk quickly in a crouched position, and hold and lift a snake bag weighing up to 2 kg. We have found that the course is generally not suitable for people with lower-back injuries, wrist-strains, and serious knee injuries. If you have a concern, please raise this with the Snake Coordinator prior to enrollment. The Snake Coordinator can be contacted at: snakes@wildcare.com.au

Note: completing the course does not allow you to pick up, catch or kill a protected species, according to the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974. Unless you are with a wildlife organisation like Wildcare, you won’t have the appropriate licence or insurance to collect/relocate snakes.
