4. 10km Swim Start Times: 7:00am Non-Wetsuit 7.10am Wetsuit
5. 5km Swim Start Times: 7:30am Non-Wetsuit 7:40am Wetsuit
6. 2.5km Swim Start Times: 8:00am Non-Wetsuit 8:10am Wetsuit
7. 2.5km loop course: 10km = 4 laps, 5km = 2 laps, 2.5km = 1 lap
8. You can use this event to assist in qualifying you for various events like 'U24', 'Rotto', 'Port 2 Pub', Great Keppel Island, etc., as long as you wear FINA-approved swimwear. NOTE: buoyancy shorts DO count as wetsuit attire
9. Feeds for 10k swimmers: have your feeds in a swim bag, it will get wet (bring some carabiners to hang the bag), self feeding from a boat or pontoon, you can have a personal feeder from the beach
10. Swim Course: Keep bouys on your right, at all times. DO NOT swim down the middle of the course, this is out-of-bounds to swimmers, used by safety rescue boats
11. On water support: safety rescue boats - inside and outside the course, kayakers around the inside of the course
12. Swim Timing: used by Tomato Timing, timing band provided, to be worn around you ankle and handed back on your return
13. Cut-Off Times: for 10km swimmers, you need to have started your 4th lap by 3hrs 5mins AFTER the 10km non-wetsuit start time
14. Coffee available from 6am for $5, cash and credit available
15. Car Parking: limited council paid parking at Half Moon Bay, Beach Road off road council paid car park between Eliza & Love Streets or free street parking - Eliza Street, Love Street, Middleton Streets, Bayview Crescent
16. Personal Belongings: can be left in the change rooms / on the balcony at your own risk, personal belongings are your responsibility
17. Presentation: Solo 10km swimmers non-wetsuit category will be eligible for the Melissa Roberts Perpetual Trophies (1st male and female)
