PERSONAL RISK OF MEMBERSHIP (HEALTH + RELATED)
Registration as a participant of Philotimo Jujitsu camps is on condition that the student enrols in the school at their/her own risk. Philotimo, by its servants, agents, students, or instructors, will not bear and accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any adverse consequences of activities participated in by, whether solely or involving fellow students whether authorised or unauthorised and without limiting generally of the foregoing, for:

Accidental death

Any personal injury which may be sustained whilst training

Loss, through theft or otherwise and damage to personal property and effects; either before, during or after commencement of training classes with Philotimo.

Only First Aid or care until First Aid or Ambulance is called/arrived can be provided.

Students understand Philotimo’s player-accident Insurance ONLY covers students for; - Ambulance -$1500 physiotherapy paid at total 85% cost of each visit -Catastrophic injury (paralysis, loss of sight, loss of limb, permanent incapacity) -Death Students should familiarise themselves with the player-accident policy. Australian Legislation does not permit sports player insurance to cover students for anything other than non-medicare related issues. This is the law.

Philotimo Jujitsu requires all students to wear protective gear and a mouth guard in order to minimise risks. Students who do not wear protective gear as instructed will not be permitted to train.

CONTACT SPORTS RISK
All students/members need to be fully aware Philotimo and related activities are Combat Sports and injury and discomfort can arise.
Students/ members / parents / guardians recognize no student is ever asked to do anything they are uncomfortable with or not confident doing. A student can express that they do not wish to do any technique and this will always be respected.

All students/guardians hereby agree to the conditions set out in the Indemnity form given to every student and guardian to sign upon their first lesson at Philotimo.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
