1. General Admission
•General admission to the Event is free, but certain activities and camping will incur additional charges. •Payment for chargeable activities and camping must be made in advance or at designated payment points during the Event. Refunds policy is as follows: 100% before 31 January 2025, 50% before 28 March 2025, 0% after 28 March 2025
2. Livestock and Horse Safety
•The Event features horses and other livestock, which are unpredictable by nature. By attending the Event, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with the presence of animals, including potential injury or harm.
•All attendees must:
- Exercise caution around horses and livestock at all times.
- Follow all safety instructions provided by Event staff, animal handlers, and signage.
- Avoid approaching or feeding animals unless explicitly permitted and supervised by authorised personnel.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially in areas where animals are present.
• The Event organiser is not responsible for injuries or accidents resulting from interactions with animals.
• Attendees who are riding horses or participating in ridden horse events, agree to complete a waiver form prior to arrival. Waiver is available at kilkivangreathorseride.com.au, as are Horse Health declarations that are required to be completed on the day of horse travel to the event.
3. Camping Rules
• Camping spaces are limited and must be pre-booked through the official Event website or onsite registration.
• Campers must adhere to all safety and noise regulations, including quiet hours between [11pm-5am].
• NO GENERATORS during quiet hours. Failure to observe may result in you being asked to leave.
• Campfires are to be contained and off the ground ie in a brazier.
• The Event organizer is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property in the camping areas.
4. Event Activities
Participation in chargeable activities (e.g., guided trail rides, activities, workshops) is at the attendee's own risk.
• All participants must sign a waiver of liability before engaging in any activities involving animals or physical exertion.
• Attendees must wear appropriate clothing and safety equipment as instructed.
5. Conduct and Behaviour
• Attendees must behave respectfully toward others, animals, and Event property. Aggressive or reckless behaviour will not be tolerated.
• Alcohol consumption is permitted only in designated areas, and intoxicated individuals may be asked to leave for their own safety and the safety of others.
6. Liability
• By attending the Event, you assume all risks associated with your participation, including but not limited to interactions with animals, outdoor activities, and camping.
• The Event organiser is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages.
7. Photography and Media
• By attending the Event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.
• Personal photography is allowed but must not interfere with the safety of animals or other attendees.
8. Children and Minors
• All children under the age of 13yo must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• Parents or guardians are fully responsible for the safety and behaviour of their children.
Important Safety Reminder
• Horses and livestock are large, powerful animals and may behave unpredictably. Always stay alert, maintain a safe distance unless otherwise instructed, and respect all safety guidelines.
