Kids Playhouse Holiday Camp Refund Policy (Effective 1 May 2024)

If you need to cancel a Holiday Camp booking, the following applies:

28 days or more before camp starts:
Refund available less a $60 administration fee.

27–21 days before camp starts:
Refund available less a cancellation fee of 30% of the total camp fee paid.

20–14 days before camp starts:
Refund available less a cancellation fee of 50% of the total camp fee paid.

Less than 14 days before camp starts:
No refunds or credits will be provided.

Once camp has commenced:

No credits or refunds are provided for missed days due to illness or any other reason.

Kids Playhouse Holiday Camp Terms & Conditions

By enrolling your child/children in a Kids Playhouse Holiday Camp or Workshop (including any online workshops where applicable), you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1) Participation, Risk & Liability

Kids Playhouse is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree that Kids Playhouse excludes liability for any loss, damage, or claim arising from or connected with your child’s attendance at Kids Playhouse Camps/Workshops, including (without limitation) claims relating to personal injury, loss of property, or participation in activities.

You release and discharge Kids Playhouse from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage (including direct, indirect or consequential loss) associated with your child/children attending a Kids Playhouse Holiday Camp/Workshop.

2) Photography, Video & Marketing Consent

You consent to Kids Playhouse (and its staff/representatives) taking photographs, video, audio and/or digital recordings of your child/children during camp activities.

You also consent to Kids Playhouse using these recordings in any medium, including (but not limited to) social media, our website, printed materials, brochures and marketing.

3) Camp Structure, Roles & Showcase Participation

Kids Playhouse will allocate activities, groups and performance roles in a way that best supports the overall camp experience. This may mean roles change during the week for learning, behaviour management, time constraints or group balance.

Where a camp includes a final-day performance/showcase, Kids Playhouse may limit speaking roles for children who are not attending the final performance (for example, if the showcase is at 3:00pm on the final day).

4) Payment

Full payment is required prior to your child attending any Kids Playhouse camp/workshop. Payment can be made via credit card or bank transfer.

5) Behaviour Expectations & Right to Refuse Admission

Kids Playhouse reserves the right to refuse admission, or to remove a child from camp, if their behaviour:

creates a safety risk,

is persistently disruptive,

involves bullying, harassment or unacceptable language, or

threatens the wellbeing of other children or staff.

In these circumstances, the child may be removed without refund.

6) Privacy

Kids Playhouse stores personal information in accordance with current privacy legislation. Credit card details are not stored by Kids Playhouse.

7) Changes & Cancellations by Kids Playhouse

Kids Playhouse reserves the right to amend or cancel programs, venues, timetables, staffing, activities and pricing where required, including due to operational or safety reasons.

8) Grouping of Children

Kids Playhouse may group children by age, stage, experience level and/or learning needs, as we deem appropriate. We do our best to accommodate friend requests, however this is not always possible.

9) Pick-Up Times & Late Fees

You agree to collect your child by 5:25pm each day, except on Show/Performance Day where pick-up arrangements may differ.

If you are late, a late collection fee of $1 per minute (or part thereof) applies.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
