HKHDCA Centenary Gala Dinner – Ticket Terms & Conditions

Event: HKHDCA Centenary Gala Dinner
Date: Thursday, 19 February 2026
Venue: Hornsby RSL – The Showroom
Organiser: Hornsby Ku-ring-gai & Hills District Cricket Association (HKHDCA)

1. Acceptance
1.1 Purchase of a ticket constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
1.2 These Terms apply to all ticket purchasers and attendees.

2. Ticket Fees
2.1 Ticket prices are as follows:
a) Individual Ticket: AUD $120
b) Table of Ten: AUD $1,100
2.2 Prices include all inclusions expressly stated by HKHDCA.

3. Payment and Issue of Tickets
3.1 Tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.
3.2 A valid electronic ticket or confirmation must be produced for entry.
3.3 Tickets are valid only for the event, date and time specified.
3.4 HKHDCA is not responsible for lost, damaged or duplicate tickets.

4. Transfer, Resale and Validity
4.1 Tickets are non-transferable without prior written consent from HKHDCA.
4.2 Tickets must not be resold above face value in accordance with NSW ticket resale laws.
4.3 HKHDCA may cancel tickets that have been resold, transferred or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Refunds and Cancellation
5.1 Event cancellation or major change
5.1.1 If HKHDCA cancels the event, the ticket price (excluding booking fees) will be refunded.
5.1.2 If HKHDCA makes a major change to the event, purchasers will be notified and provided the option of refund or transfer.
5.2 Purchaser cancellation
5.2.1 Tickets are non-refundable where the purchaser or attendee is unable to attend.
5.2.2 Refunds may be granted solely at the discretion of HKHDCA.
5.3 Final 7-Day Restriction
5.3.1 No refunds will be issued within 7 days of the event, except as required by Australian Consumer Law.

6. Force Majeure
6.1 HKHDCA is not liable for failure to hold the event where caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government orders, restrictions, natural disasters, venue closure or safety concerns.
6.2 In such circumstances, HKHDCA may offer a refund, credit or transfer to a rescheduled date.

7. Conditions of Entry
7.1 A valid ticket must be presented for entry.
7.2 Attendees must comply with all venue rules and directions.
7.3 HKHDCA and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee for:
a) unsafe, disruptive or inappropriate conduct,
b) breach of venue rules, or
c) use of invalid or fraudulent tickets.
7.4 No refund will be issued where entry is refused under this clause.

8. Liability
8.1 To the extent permitted by law, HKHDCA and the venue accept no liability for loss, damage, injury or theft suffered by an attendee.
8.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Dietary Requirements
9.1 HKHDCA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
9.2 Dietary information must be provided at the time of booking or within the timeframe stipulated on the TryBooking form.

10. Alcohol Policy
10.1 Service of alcohol is at the discretion of venue staff in accordance with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) requirements.
10.2 No refund will be issued where service is refused under RSA regulations.

11. Photography and Recording
11.1 The event may be photographed or recorded for HKHDCA promotional purposes.
11.2 Attendance constitutes consent to the use of such media unless HKHDCA is notified in writing prior to the event.

12. Privacy
12.1 Personal information collected will be used solely for event administration and communications.
12.2 Information will not be disclosed except as required for event operations or as permitted by law.

13. Amendments
13.1 HKHDCA may amend these Terms at any time.
13.2 Material changes will be communicated to purchasers where practicable.
