Rockdale Musical Society — Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all tickets purchased for productions presented by Rockdale Musical Society Inc. (RMS). By buying or attending with a ticket, you agree to the following:
1. General Conditions
All tickets are sold subject to availability.
RMS reserves the right to vary advertised programs, cast, creative teams, performance dates, or seating arrangements without notice.
RMS reserves the right to refuse entry to any person in accordance with venue and society policies.
2. Refunds, Exchanges & Cancellations
No refunds are offered for change of mind, personal circumstances, illness, travel issues, or mistaken purchases, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Tickets may be exchanged to another performance of the same production (subject to availability) up to 48 hours before the original performance. Exchange fees may apply.
If a performance is cancelled by RMS, you will be offered either:
a transfer to another performance (subject to availability), or
a refund of the ticket price.
If a performance is interrupted, delayed, or required to stop due to circumstances beyond RMS’s control, no refund is required where a substantial proportion of the performance has been presented.
3. Ticket Delivery & Entry
Tickets may be delivered electronically or collected at the venue.
It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure contact details are correct to receive tickets and updates.
Patrons must present a valid ticket for entry. Duplicate or altered tickets will not be accepted.
4. Concessions & Discounts
Concession tickets are only valid with appropriate ID (student, pensioner, senior card etc.).
RMS reserves the right to check eligibility at entry.
Invalid concession use may require the patron to pay the ticket price difference at the door.
5. Late Seating
Latecomers will only be admitted at a suitable break in the performance and may be seated in alternate locations to minimise disruption.
RMS does not guarantee the original seat selection for late patrons.
6. Behaviour & Venue Policy
Patrons must follow all instructions from RMS staff, production crew, and venue personnel.
Disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund (including excessive talking, filming, photography, intoxication, or harassment).
No external food or drink is permitted unless specified by the venue.
Prams and large bags may not be allowed inside the auditorium.
7. Photography, Filming & Recording
Filming, photography, live-streaming, or audio recording of any part of the performance is strictly prohibited.
RMS may record or photograph performances and audiences for archival or promotional use. Attendance implies consent to incidental inclusion in such media.
8. Accessibility
Patrons requiring wheelchair spaces or accessible seating should contact RMS before purchase, as accessible seating is limited.
Companion Card holders are entitled to a complimentary companion ticket when available.
9. Lost, Damaged, or Unauthorised Tickets
RMS is not responsible for tickets that are lost, stolen, damaged, or purchased from unauthorised resellers (including third-party sites or social media).
Only tickets purchased via the official RMS ticketing system are guaranteed valid.
