Online Workshop Consent & Participation Agreement
Please read carefully before purchasing your ticket.
By completing your registration, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:
1. Purpose of the Workshop
This online workshop provides general information about baby hearing, speech, language, feeding, and related developmental topics.
The session includes approximately 25 minutes of education followed by a live Q&A for general questions.
The workshop is not a clinical assessment, not therapy, and not individualised advice.
2. Scope of Information
All information presented is general in nature and may not apply to your individual child or circumstances.
The presenter will not diagnose, assess, or provide personalised treatment recommendations during the session or during the Q&A.
If you have specific concerns about a child, you are encouraged to book a consultation with a qualified health professional.
3. Presenter Qualifications
Workshops are delivered by a certified Speech Pathologist and Audiologist with relevant training in baby communication, hearing, feeding, and development, and NDC accreditation. The content remains within the presenter’s approved professional scope.
4. Your Responsibilities
By registering, you agree to:
Use the information for general educational purposes only.
Seek personalised care from a qualified health professional when needed.
Participate respectfully during Q&A and avoid sharing confidential or sensitive details about children or families.
5. Recording & Privacy
Workshops may be recorded for quality, review, or redistribution (e.g., short clips for future education).
Your video and audio will not be included unless you choose to unmute or switch on your camera during Q&A.
You may submit questions anonymously via the chat.
By attending, you consent to:
The presenter recording the educational portion of the workshop
The presenter using de-identified Q&A content for future educational purposes
Recording or distributing the session yourself is not permitted.
6. Ticketing, Payment & Refunds
Payment is required at the time of registration.
Tickets are non-refundable except as required under Australian Consumer Law (e.g., if the event is cancelled or rescheduled).
Tickets may not be transferred or shared without the presenter’s permission. If you are unexpectedly unavailable for the session you booked, please email audiologist@jessicalibby.com.au for a transfer to a different upcoming session.
7. Technology Requirements
You are responsible for having a stable internet connection and suitable device.
Refunds cannot be issued for connection issues on your side.
8. Professional Conduct (for professionals attending)
If you are a health or early childhood professional, you agree to:
Use the content to inform your general understanding, not as formal professional training.
Avoid representing the workshop as supervision, accreditation, or clinical endorsement.
Respect the presenter’s intellectual property and not reproduce or deliver the content as your own.
9. Consent & Agreement
By purchasing a ticket and attending the workshop, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood all information above
Give your consent to participate under these conditions
Understand the educational nature of the workshop
Consent to the workshop being recorded as outlined
Agree not to record, copy, or share workshop content
