Terms & Conditions — Lightworker Events (Australia)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all circles, workshops, activations, and healing events facilitated by Sue Wellwood, U being U in Australia.
By booking or attending, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Nature of the Work
Events may include:
Sound Healing
Breathwork
Esoteric / Non-insertive Acupuncture
Light body or Energy Activations
Meditation, movement, and guided inner journeys
These are holistic, spiritual and experiential practices and are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.

2. Personal Responsibility
By attending, you agree that:
You participate voluntarily and at your own pace.
You are responsible for your physical, emotional, mental and energetic wellbeing.
You will disclose any relevant conditions (respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, pregnancy, mental health concerns, sensitivity to sound or energy work).
You will seek medical advice before participating if you have any concerns about your suitability for breath work or sound healing.

3. Health, Safety & Eligibility
Please do not attend if you:
Are feeling unwell or have a contagious illness
Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Have a medical or psychiatric condition that may be aggravated by breath work, sound frequencies, meditation, or energy practices
Participants must be 18+ unless otherwise stated.

4. Confidentiality & Sacred Space
To maintain a safe container:
All personal sharing within the group remains confidential
Judgement-free presence is expected
Respect for all participants, the facilitator, and the space is required
Anyone acting in a disruptive or unsafe manner may be asked to leave.

5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Refund Policy
No Refunds
All bookings are final and non-refundable.
If You Cancel
If you cannot attend for any reason:
You may be invited to join another event of equal value, subject to availability.
You may transfer your booking to another person with prior written notice.
If the Facilitator Cancels
If the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the facilitator:
You will be offered a transfer to a new date or
A credit for a future event.
This complies with consumer expectations under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), where refunds are required only for major failures (e.g., event not provided at all).

6. (Australia) Disclaimers & Legal Compliance
In alignment with Australian consumer law, you acknowledge that:
These events do not diagnose, treat, or cure health conditions.
Facilitator(s) are not providing medical, psychological, or registered health services.
Breathwork and sound healing may not be suitable for everyone; participation is voluntary.
Participants are encouraged to seek independent professional advice where needed.
You agree to take full responsibility for your participation and any outcomes that arise from it.

7. Liability Release (Australia)
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to:
Release the facilitator from liability for any injury, loss, or damages arising from participation
Acknowledge that you engage in breath work, sound healing, movement, and energy work at your own risk
Accept responsibility for assessing your own physical and emotional readiness
Nothing in this agreement excludes guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Photography & Media
You consent to the respectful use of photos or short videos taken during the event for promotional purposes unless you notify the facilitator in writing before the event begins.

9. Agreement
By attending or purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you:
Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
Agree to the no-refund policy
Agree to the cancellation, transfer, and liability conditions
Participate willingly and responsibly
