Student Eligibility
If the applicant is under 18 years of age Parent/Guardian consent is required. Juniors under the age of 14 years old must be under parental supervision at all times. All students must be of a minimum 10 years of age.
Note that for safety reasons all students must be able to understand instructions in English or be accompanied by an interpreter.
Course Commencement Time
Students should arrive by 9:15am.
Safety briefings commence at 9:30am and will commence on time. If a student is late and misses the safety briefing they will not be allowed to participate in the archery session. A refund will not be issued. Exceptions may be made if the student contacts the coaching coordinator on 0409 272 437 prior to 9:30am.
Weather Policy
Waverley City Archers has a policy whereby in extreme hot weather we may cancel or reschedule a course or coaching session. Additionally if heavy rain or very strong wind is forecast for the majority of the session a reschedule will occur. The session will not be cancelled for light rain or winds.
In the event that the session is rescheduled, Waverley City Archers will contact the students via text message and email before commencement of the session. Corporate events and Come & Try participants will be given the option to reschedule or obtain a refund. The Beginners Course schedule allows for additional time to complete the course so we can schedule makeup sessions where necessary.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Note that cancellation due to unavailability (including sickness) is not refundable, however we can reschedule your booking to an alternative date.
You must advise us prior to the course date.
Media Consent.
Your personal details will not be passed on to any third parties outside ourselves, Archery Victoria and Archery Australia (for Insurance purposes).
Waverley City Archers may, from time to time, publish photographs on our social media and/or web sites. However, you may request at the time that images containing yourself not be included.
Code Of Conduct
This course is conducted under the auspices of Archery Victoria and Archery Australia and as such entry to this course requires acknowledgement and acceptance of the policies and procedures of Archery Victoria and Archery Australia including, but not limited to;

Student Liability / Public Liability Insurance
Upon entering this course, you are given Temporary Membership to Archery Australia for the purpose of engaging in an Instruction Class or Archery related activity.
Temporary membership is provided for a maximum period of 12 weeks when undertaking instruction or for a maximum of 4 visit a year for visitors. Instruction will be carried out by an accredited Archery Australia Inc. Archery Instructor or an appointed club member. All persons involved in instruction hold a current Working With Children's Check.
Temporary membership provides coverage by the Archery Australia Public Liability Insurance policy and offers no other rights or privileges within Archery Australia Inc.
On acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, you agree with the above conditions and understand the limitations associated with Temporary Membership.
