Cancellation
If a course is cancelled by Disaster Management Branch, all participants will receive a full refund.

Transfers
If you can no longer attend a course, you may request to transfer your registration to a future course date, subject to availability and a minimum of 30 days’ notice. If no future course is scheduled, you will be issued with a credit note valid for 12 months.
Within 30 days, you may transfer your booking to another participant at no additional cost. You must notify us in writing at least 7 days before the course start date with the replacement participant’s details.
Due to pre course requirements, no changes can be made within 7 days of the course date.

Refunds
Special consideration may be given on compassionate grounds and/or exceptional circumstances that prevent a participant from attending. Each request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. The request must be in writing and supported with evidence outlining the circumstances impacting the participants ability to attend.

Course Materials
Electronic access to the course text book is provided no later than 30 days prior to the course. In the event of a refund, the textbook cost will be deducted from the refund amount. In the event of transfer, the incoming participant may need to purchase the textbook separately.

Exceptional Circumstances
If, after commencing, exceptional circumstances prevent a participant from completing part of the course, the course director has the discretion to offer make up opportunities.

Forfeit
Failure to attend will result in forfeit of the full course fee.
