Acceptance of Terms
By taking part in any Funday Pickleball event—whether as a participant, player, spectator, coach, or in any other role—you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. You confirm that you have had adequate time to review and understand these terms before choosing to participate.

Acknowledgement of Risk
Pickleball, like any sport, involves inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated, even with appropriate precautions. These risks may include minor injuries such as bruises, strains, and sprains, as well as more severe injuries, such as fractures, ligament tears, concussions, or other medical issues, up to and including death. By choosing to participate, you acknowledge and accept these risks, and take full responsibility for any injuries or damages that result from them. Participants are responsible for their own actions and behaviour during events.

Insurance Responsibility
Funday Pickleball does not provide personal accident, injury, or health insurance coverage for participants. Participants are responsible for considering their own insurance needs and obtaining any insurance coverage they deem appropriate. By participating in Funday Pickleball events, participants acknowledge that they participate at their own risk and are responsible for any personal injury, medical expenses, or related costs arising from their participation, to the extent permitted by law.

Health and Fitness
By participating in Funday Pickleball events, you confirm that you are in good physical condition and do not have any medical conditions that would prevent your full participation. If you have any concerns regarding your health, it is advised that you consult a healthcare provider before engaging in any activities.

Release of Liability
By participating, you release Funday Pickleball, its employees, agents, representatives, and anyone acting on its behalf from any claims, actions, or liabilities related to your involvement in the event. This includes, but is not limited to, any known or unknown damages, injuries, or losses.

Media Release
By attending Funday Pickleball events, you acknowledge that photography and videography may occur. If you do not wish to appear in promotional content, please notify Funday Pickleball staff before or during the event

Legal Agreement
By engaging in any Funday Pickleball event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined above. You waive any right to pursue legal action against Funday Pickleball for any issues covered by this agreement.

Event Cancellations
In the event of rain or other adverse weather conditions that impact the schedule Funday Pickleball event, we prioritise safety and enjoyment for all participants. If an event is cancelled due to rain or inclement weather, attendees will be moved to the next available event. You will receive a notification via email with details on the rescheduled event and the next available dates. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you will receive credit equal to the value of your original booking, valid for future Funday Pickleball events. In the event of a weather-related cancellation, you will be informed as soon as possible via email (commonly between 6pm - 6.30pm day of the event). We will provide updated event information and details on how to redeem your credit or reschedule your participation.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled event. To cancel, please contact us at fundaypickleball@gmail.com with your booking details. For cancellations made in advance, you will receive compensation in the form of event credit, which can be used at future events. No compensation will be issued for events missed without prior notice at least 24 hours before the event. Participants arriving late may have their participation time reduced to minimise disruption to other players. No refunds or credits will be provided for late arrival.

Respect and Conduct
Every individual attending Funday Pickleball events deserves to be treated with respect and courtesy. Funday Pickleball has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination or harassment. All participants are expected to demonstrate fair play, honesty, and sportsmanship. Funday Pickleball reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inconsistent with the values of the community. No refund or credit will be provided in these circumstances

Safety and Responsibility
The safety of all participants is our top priority. Funday Pickleball encourages everyone to play responsibly, respect their physical limits, and follow all safety protocols. If you notice any risks, hazards, or unsafe conditions, please report them to event staff immediately for prompt action.

Respect for Property
Participants are expected to respect Funday Pickleball's equipment and facilities, ensuring they are left in the same condition as when they arrived. If damage occurs to any equipment or facilities, Funday Pickleball may request compensation for repairs or replacement.

Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes, participants should approach the situation calmly and respectfully. Conflicts should not be escalated, and if necessary, event staff can assist in resolving the issue in a fair and professional manner.

Emergency Medical Assistance
In the event of an injury or medical emergency during a Funday Pickleball event, Funday Pickleball may contact emergency services or seek appropriate medical assistance where reasonably necessary. Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for any medical expenses, treatment costs, or related expenses incurred as a result of any injury or medical condition arising during their participation.

Alcohol and Substance Policy
Participants must not attend or participate in Funday Pickleball activities while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair their ability to participate safely or responsibly. Funday Pickleball reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any individual whose behaviour, condition, or actions may pose a risk to themselves or others.

Participant Eligibility
Participants must meet any eligibility requirements specified for each Funday Pickleball event, including any age restrictions. Participants under the age of 18 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to participation. Funday Pickleball reserves the right to request confirmation of eligibility where reasonably required.

Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings brought to Funday Pickleball events. Funday Pickleball is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or misplaced items, including but not limited to personal equipment, clothing, valuables, or electronic devices.

Removal from Event
Funday Pickleball reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from an event where their behaviour, conduct, or actions are considered unsafe, disruptive, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the values of the Funday Pickleball community. No refund, credit, or compensation will be provided in circumstances where a participant is removed due to their own conduct.

These terms apply to all current and future participation in any Funday Pickleball event or program. By participating, you agree to be bound by these conditions.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
