Booking Terms & Conditions

By registering for a Strategic Cities training course, you agree to the following booking terms:
1. Registration and payment
All registrations must be paid in full at the time of booking to secure your place.

2. Cancellations by participants
• Cancellations received more than 30 days before the course start date are eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations received within 30 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
You may nominate a substitute participant at no additional cost, subject to reasonable notice.

3. Cancellations or changes by Strategic Cities
If Strategic Cities cancels or reschedules a course, you will be offered the choice of:
• a full refund, or
• a transfer to a future course date.

4. Force majeure
Strategic Cities will not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, travel restrictions, industrial action, or government directives. Where possible, we will offer a transfer or alternative arrangement.

5. Recordings and materials
Some courses or sessions may be recorded for training or internal purposes. By participating, you consent to this. Recordings and materials will not be shared publicly without notice.
All training materials provided (including slides, manuals, templates, recordings, and digital resources) remain the intellectual property of Strategic Cities and are provided for participant’s personal use only. Materials may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written permission.

6. Program changes
Strategic Cities reserve the right to make minor changes to course content, format, or presenters where necessary, provided the overall learning outcomes are not materially affected.

7. Australian Consumer Law
These terms do not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a course is not delivered with due care or as described, you may be entitled to a refund or other remedy in accordance with the law.

8. Questions or concerns
If you have any questions, concerns, or issues regarding your booking or participation, in the first instance please contact us in writing so we can work with you to resolve the matter promptly.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
