Retail sales
Due to Queensland's liquor licensing laws, no whiskies can be sold take-away on the day. However, we'll have a number of retailers on site to take your orders, with delivery and click and collect options available after the event. Sense of Taste is the 2026 official retail partner of Qld Whisky Expo

The fine print
We support the responsible service of alcohol and this policy will be in place at all times. We encourage regular water consumption and bottled water will be provided at the event. Spittoons will be provided at each table, we encourage the use of these to maximise your tasting experience. Abusive and/or aggressive language or disruptive behaviour towards Rydges Southbank employees, security team, QMWS members and/or brand ambassadors will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave should this occur.
A photographer will be present for both sessions, these will be used on facebook and instagram, and for QMWS promotion for future Expos. We may use any photographs that we take of you for display on social media without payment to you.
Rydges Southbank, the QMWS (Queensland Malt Whisky Society), nor whisky distributors, their employees, ambassadors, members and/or contractors will not be held liable for any loss, whether it be financial, physical or intellectual, by any person or group who attends the QMWS Whisky Expo 2026.
By buying a ticket you opt-in to receiving email event updates and marketing for this and future Whisky Expos. If you do not wish to receive further marketing emails you may contact the organiser via the email above.

Refund Policy
By booking and paying for a ticket, I understand that the purchase is not refundable, however you may send another person to use your ticket if you cannot attend. You may switch your ticket to another session if tickets remain at the time the request is made.

This is an adults only 18+ event only.
