By purchasing a ticket you agree to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.

CASH PRIZES
The heaviest King George Whiting weighed in on Friday will win $500 - Sponsored by G.I.O Insurance.
The heaviest King George Whiting weighing 1kg or more will win $500 - Sponsored by Norglass Marine Paints.
OTHER PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded to winners in Senior Male & Senior Female Categories and Junior Male & Junior Female Categories to the total value of $6800.
PLUS Random Draw Prize of a 4 round Golf Package (worth $360) Drawn from ALL Competitors from Phillip Island Golf Club.
Competitors will only be eligible to win one random draw prize.
After being drawn for a prize, the Competitor number will not be returned to the prize draw.

JUNIOR FEMALE (JF)
• Heaviest King George Whiting over both days, from Heaviest ($400 Goods) to 2nd Heaviest ($200 Goods) King George Whiting - Sponsored by Jim's Bait & Tackle.
SENIOR MALE (SM)
• Heaviest King George Whiting over both days, from Heaviest ($2000) to 2nd Heaviest ($800) King George Whiting - Sponsored by Bendigo Bank.
SENIOR FEMALE (SF)
• Heaviest King George Whiting over both days, from Heaviest ($2000) to 2nd Heaviest ($800) King George Whiting - Sponsored by Phillip Island Marine.

FISHING RULES - JUNIORS
• Any King George Whiting weighed in by a Junior Competitor is eligible for a prize in the Junior Categories and Combined Categories.
• Junior Competitors may present their heaviest King George Whiting, which must be 30cm or greater in length.
• Any King George Whiting weighed in by a Junior is INELIGIBLE for the Senior Categories.
FISHING RULES - SENIORS
• Any King George Whiting weighed in by a Senior Competitor is eligible for a prize in the Senior Categories and Combined Categories.
• Senior Competitors may present their heaviest King George Whiting, which must be 30cm or greater in length.
• Any fish weighed in by a Senior Competitor is INELIGIBLE for the Junior Categories of the Competition.
GENERAL RULES AND WEIGH-IN
• Fishing Guides or Charter Operators & immediate family members are NOT eligible to enter this Amateur Event.
This does not preclude competitors fishing on a Charter or with a Guide.
• Each Competitor must hook, fight & land their own fish.
• All Fisheries regulations must be adhered to.
• Competitors must fish within the boundaries of Westernport Bay.
• The Weigh Station will be at the Rhyll Phillip Island Angling Club building adjacent to the Rhyll Boat Ramp.
• Competitors must be at the Weigh Station by the deadline designated in this entry form.
• Fish presented after the deadline time will not be weighed.
• The weight of the anglers selected heaviest King George Whiting ONLY will be weighed EACH DAY.
• Fish are to be weighed whole. Mutilated fish will not be accepted. The RPIAC Committee reserves the right to open any fish for inspection.
• The RPIAC Committee reserves the right to inspect any equipment / boats used by competitors.
• Any boats found to contain illegal equipment will cause all competitors who used the boat to be disqualified.
• Any Angler found to be in breach of the Competition rules will be disqualified.
• Any protest must be in writing and lodged with the Weigh Station no later than 3 minutes after the deadline for the weigh-in close on the day of the fish being caught.
• All RPIAC Committee decisions are final.
• In the case of a tied weight, the first fish weighed will be determined the winner.
• The Viper S Series Anchor Winch Prize shall be drawn from ALL Registered Competitors that weigh in a King George Whiting.
• The 4-round Golf Package shall be drawn from All Registered Competitors.
To claim the Viper Anchor Winch or 4-round Golf Package prizes, the Identification Card matching the drawn competitor must be presented within 5 minutes of the draw to claim the prize; otherwise a redraw will occur every 5 minutes until the prize is claimed.
• The Viper Anchor Winch or 4-round Golf Package prizes will become the property of the Registered Competitor, not the presenter of the valid Identification Card.
LIABILITY
• Rhyll Phillip Island Angling Club (Inc.), It's Officers and Officials hold no responsibility for the behaviour, actions or decisions of the entrants and will not be held liable for any damage, injury or loss occasioned during the Whiting Competition.
• All Competitors participate in the Whiting Competition knowing they accept all risk and liability for their actions and decisions.
• By entering this Competition, you agree to ALL Competition Rules.
WEATHER
• Competitors are encouraged to regularly check the local weather conditions and only participate if the conditions
are suitable. No refunds will be given if a competitor decides not to fish due to inclement weather.
