By purchasing a ticket and attending a performance, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchases
All tickets are sold subject to availability.
Prices advertised are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
A booking fee may apply and is charged by the ticketing provider.
Tickets must be purchased through our authorised ticketing service. Please contact the organiser should you have any diffulties.
2. Refunds & Exchanges
Tickets are generally non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges may be offered, subject to availability, if requested at least 24 hours prior to the performance.
No refunds or exchanges will be given for:
Change of mind
Late arrival
Failure to attend
Incorrect ticket selection made during booking, contact the organiser to may changes.
If a performance is cancelled by the organiser, ticket holders will be offered a transfer to another performance or a refund.
3. Performance Changes
The theatre reserves the right to:
Change the performance date or time.
Substitute cast members.
Alter advertised programs where necessary.
Cancel performances due to circumstances beyond our control.
Such changes do not automatically entitle patrons to a refund unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
4. Admission
Every person entering the venue must hold a valid ticket unless otherwise advised.
Patrons may be required to present proof of concession &/or companion eligibility.
Lost or stolen tickets may be reissued at the discretion of the ticketing provider.
5. Late Arrival
To minimise disruption:
Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance allows.
Admission during the performance is at the discretion of the volunteer Front of House staff.
Some performances may have a lockout period during which entry is not permitted under any circumstance.
6. Photography & Recording
Photography, video recording, live streaming and audio recordings are strictly prohibited during the performance unless expressly authorised.
Unauthorised recording may result in removal from the theatre without refund.
7. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices
Please ensure all mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices are switched off or set to silent before the performance begins.
8. Behaviour
The theatre reserves the right to refuse admission or require any person to leave the venue if they:
Behave in a disruptive or abusive manner.
Are intoxicated.
Endanger the safety or enjoyment of others.
Fail to comply with reasonable directions from theatre volunteers.
No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
9. Children
Children attending must hold an appropriate ticket unless specified otherwise.
Young children should be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Some productions contain mature themes and may not be suitable for young audiences. Please refer to the production's age recommendation and content advisory.
10. Accessibility
We are committed to making our performances as accessible as possible.
Patrons requiring wheelchair seating, companion seating or other accessibility assistance are encouraged to contact us prior to booking so suitable arrangements can be made where possible.
11. Health & Safety
For the safety of all patrons:
Follow all directions provided by Front of House volunteers.
Familiarise yourself with emergency exits.
Smoking, vaping and the use of illegal substances are prohibited within the venue.
12. Food & Drink
Food and beverages may only be consumed in designated areas unless otherwise permitted by the venue.
Alcohol may only be consumed where permitted under the venue's liquor licence.
13. Content Advisory
Some productions may include mature themes, theatrical haze, flashing lights, loud sound effects, simulated violence or other effects that some patrons may find distressing.
Where appropriate, audience advisories will be published prior to performances.
14. Personal Belongings
Patrons attend at their own risk regarding personal belongings.
The theatre accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
15. Marketing & Photography
The theatre may photograph or record audiences for promotional purposes.
By entering the venue, you acknowledge that you may appear in promotional images or recordings. If you do not wish to be photographed, please advise a member of our Front of House team upon arrival.
16. Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking process will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation and used only for purposes related to your booking and theatre communications, unless you choose to receive marketing updates.
17. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Additional Conditions for Community Theatre
As a volunteer-run community theatre organisation:
Performances rely on volunteer cast, crew and Front of House staff.
Occasionally unforeseen circumstances may require changes to casting or production elements.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support of community theatre.
