By purchasing a ticket you agree to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.

1. General By purchasing a ticket to TEDxHawkesbury ("the Event") taking place on 18th April 2026, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Event is organised independently under a licence from TED.

2. Refunds and Cancellations

Non-Refundable: All ticket sales are final. Refunds will not be issued for non-attendance or "change of mind" in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Transfers: If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person. You must update the attendee details via the link in your TryBooking confirmation email or by contacting the Organiser no later than 48 hours prior to the event (16th April 2026).

Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that TEDxHawkesbury is cancelled or rescheduled, a full refund (excluding TryBooking booking fees) will be offered to all ticket holders.

3. Program and Speakers

Subject to Change: The Organiser reserves the right to add, withdraw, or substitute speakers and vary the advertised program, seating arrangements, and audience capacity.

Views Expressed: The views expressed by the speakers are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of TED, the TEDxHawkesbury Organisers, or the Richmond School of Arts.

4. Filming and Photography (Media Release)

Consent to Record: TEDxHawkesbury is being filmed and photographed for global distribution on the TEDx YouTube channel and other platforms. By attending this event, you grant the Organisers and TED the right to record your image and voice.

Release: You consent to your image/voice being included in the recording and release TEDxHawkesbury and TED from any liability regarding the use of such media.

5. Code of Conduct

Respectful Environment: TEDxHawkesbury is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone. We do not tolerate harassment of attendees, speakers, or staff in any form.

Zero Tolerance: The Organisers reserve the right to remove any person who violates this policy or disrupts the event, without refund.

6. Venue: Richmond School of Arts

Conditions of Entry: Attendees must comply with all rules and regulations of the Richmond School of Arts, including safety instructions provided by staff.

Accessibility: Please contact the Organiser immediately after booking if you have specific accessibility requirements (e.g., wheelchair access) so we can ensure appropriate seating is reserved.

7. Liability To the extent permitted by law, TEDxHawkesbury and its Organisers are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property (including vehicles) occurring at the venue.


TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
