By registering for and attending this event, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Nature of the Group
This group is a supportive, psychoeducational discussion group for mums of neurodivergent or “neuro-spicy” children. It is not a therapy group and does not replace individual counselling, psychological treatment, medical care, or crisis support.
2. Scope of Support
Information and guidance shared during the group are general in nature and intended for education and peer support only. No diagnosis, treatment plans, or individual clinical advice will be provided.
3. Confidentiality
All participants are expected to respect the privacy of others. Personal stories, names, and identifying details shared within the group must not be discussed outside the session.
While confidentiality is encouraged, it cannot be absolutely guaranteed in a group setting.
4. Respectful Participation
This is a judgement-free, neuro-affirming space. Disrespectful language, shaming, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. The facilitator reserves the right to remove participants who breach these expectations, without a refund.
5. Online Participation
Sessions can be held online via Zoom. Participants are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a private, appropriate environment to join the session. Recording of the session (audio or video) by attendees is not permitted.
6. Mandatory Reporting & Safety
As a qualified counsellor, the facilitator is bound by professional and legal obligations. If concerns arise relating to serious risk of harm to a participant or a child, appropriate steps may be taken in line with mandatory reporting requirements.
7. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds
Payment is required at the time of booking.
Refunds are not available for non-attendance or late cancellations unless otherwise stated. If the session is cancelled by the facilitator, a refund or alternative session will be offered.
8. Personal Responsibility
Participants attend voluntarily and are responsible for their own wellbeing. If you are experiencing acute distress or crisis, this group may not be appropriate, and individual support should be sought.
