Terms and Conditions
• The Catholic Office for Youth and Young Adults (COYYA). COYYA is committed to providing a respectful and safe environment for all attendees during the Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026 event.
• In this section, words like ‘holder’, ‘bearer’, and ‘purchaser’ will refer to you - the person who will buy the tickets to Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026. On the other hand, ‘our’, ‘us’, ‘we’, ‘issuer’, ‘provider’ and similar terms will indicate the organisers of Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026, the Office for Youth and Young Adults (COYYA).
• By opting to purchase tickets for Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026, you agree to our terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of the clauses listed below or with the risk allocations mentioned here, please do not purchase tickets or attend the Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026 premises without speaking with COYYA prior to ticket purchase.
• The ticket you purchase represents a revocable license for you to attend the Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026 on 3rd April 2026. The license includes the revocable right to attend Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026. This license can be revoked at any time by the issuer at their sole discretion, without any prior notification or compensation option. If the license is revoked, you will not be granted entry to this event.
• By purchasing the event tickets, you confirm that you/the attendee(s) are 18 years of age or above. All attendees below 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian for the entire duration of the event. Whilst COYYA always endeavours to provide a safe environment for all participants, COYYA will not provide direct supervision for attendees under 18 years of age. Responsibility for the overall safety and supervision of attendees under 18 years of age remains completely with the legal guardian.
• By purchasing Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026 tickets, you give your consent to COYYA to collect certain information about yourself (full name, age, date of birth, gender, email address, phone number, accessibility requirements, etc.) for verification and storage.
• COYYA does not take any responsibility for personal injuries/financial damages caused to you at the venue, or for any items lost/stolen/misplaced during this event.
• COYYA reserves the right to call for an Ambulance when an attendee is involved in a medical emergency or suffers significant personal injury at Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026. All fees and charges associated with the Ambulance call out/medical assistance are the responsibility of the attendee.
• COYYA follows a common ‘zero-tolerance policy’ towards unauthorised drug usage, unauthorized alcohol use or carrying at the event AND towards any type of behaviour/actions that can be interpreted as lewd, obscene, offensive and disrespectful. If you are found in possession of prohibited items at Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026 and/or if you indulge in any objectionable behaviour/action, your participation in the event will be terminated immediately.
• In accordance with the Archdiocese of Adeliade’s Child Protection Unit - Best Practice Guidelines for safeguarding children and young people, COYYA is committed to ensuring that interactions with children and young people are respectful, safe and underpinned by best practice principles. This includes:
For young people (participants under the age of 18 years)
- Be treated with respect at all times
- Be informed of their right to be safe and feel safe at all times.
- Say ‘no’ to participating in any activity or part of an activity. Children/young people also have the right to say ‘no’ to any kind of interactions that they feel uncomfortable with e.g. hugging or holding hands. Children/young people should be informed of their right to decline when being asked to participate in such activities.
- Give their opinion and feedback, and to feel like a valued part of the group.
- Complain or raise concerns, and be informed of who they can talk to if they feel unsafe or have an issue to raise.
• COYYA and/or the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide / Catholic Education SA (CESA) may also wish to use images or videos from the event for print and online promotional, marketing, media and educational materials. This includes COYYA, Archdiocesan, school and CESA newsletters, websites, social media or to promote the school or CESA in newspapers and other media.
Media Release Clause
By opting to purchase tickets to Lift Up - Good Friday Night Walk 2026;
I consent to my photograph/video/artwork and name to be published in:
the COYYA/Archdiocesan/school/college/CESA website
social media published by COYYA/Archdiocesan/the school/college/CESA
promotional materials published by COYYA/Archdiocesan/the school/college/CESA
newspapers and other media
• I authorise COYYA/Archdiocesan/school/college/CESA to use the photograph/video/artwork in material available free of charge to schools and education departments around Australia for school/college/CESA's promotional, marketing, media and educational purposes.
• I give consent for a photograph/video/artwork of me to be used by COYYA/Archdiocesan/school/college/CESA in the agreed publications without acknowledgment, remuneration or compensation.
• I understand and agree that if I do not consent to my photograph/video/artwork appearing in any or all of the publications above, or if I wish to withdraw this authorisation and consent, it is my responsibility to notify COYYA. Where consent is revoked, every effort will be made to remove relevant media from distribution, however this may not be possible or practical in some situations.
TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
