Terms & Conditions for registration and attendance at the Central Coast Social Ballroom Dance Festival 2026

1 - Each Registration package purchased includes the following events for one person:

* Welcome Dance (Friday Night)
* Revise and Refresh Sessions (Saturday Morning)
* Formal Dinner Dance (Saturday Night)
* Casual Farewell Dance (Sunday), incl Light Lunch

2 - Refund Policy - You must apply to the Organisers for any refund.

* Note: any fees or costs applied through TryBooking to this booking are not refundable.
* Full refund - Before 18/07/2026 (2 months before Festival)
* 75% refund - Before 18/08/2026 (1 month before Festival)
* 50% refund - Before 04/09/2026 (2 weeks before Festival)
* No refund - On or after 05/09/2026.

3 - Tickets are not transferable.

4 - There is no allocated seating available for these events.

5 - Committee Members, or those specifically appointed by them, have permission to take photos and/or videos on behalf of The Dance Festival Inc. for use in areas such as social media or promotional material.

6 - With the exception of the demonstration prior to each Workshop, no videos are to be taken unless authorised by the Committee. The use of any recording device (including smart phones) to take photos/videos is expressly prohibited, in line with s.8 Surveillance Devices Act 2007.

7 - No other costs, such as accommodation, are included in the registration.

8 - Attendees are expected to follow directions and/or requests issued by any Committee member.

9 - No foreign substance of any kind is allowed to be applied to the floor or shoes, including water, for any reason without the express, written permission of a Committee member.

10 - Disclaimer: There is an obvious inherent risk involved in dancing and/or learning to dance and attendees participate in these activities at their own risk. Attendees are responsible to minimise this risk to themselves or others including, but not limited to: wearing appropriate attire, including correct footwear, dancing to their abilities and conducting themselves appropriately at all events. This includes practices such as being courteous to others, dancing to the conditions, engaging in good use of floor-craft, not being reckless, not taking food or liquid across the dance floor, using appropriate behaviour whenever within the dance space etc.

11 - Committee members of The Dance Festival Inc. reserve the right to refuse entry or remove persons who are behaving in a manner that is illegal, disruptive, dangerous, disrespectful or inhibiting enjoyment of other attendees. No refunds are available in this instance.

12 - The Committee of The Dance Festival Inc. reserves the right to add, delete or change any aspect of this Festival.

13 - Any health requirements or other Governmental restrictions, at the time of The Dance Festival, will be strictly adhered to and all attendees will be expected to follow these requirements.

The Dance Festival Inc. PRIVACY STATEMENT
The Dance Festival Inc. collects personal information for the purpose of organising and promoting dance festivals, events & dances. For example, your information will be used in our mailing lists prior to this Festival to keep you updated & supply more information as well as used to promote future Festivals, Events or Dances. Your data may be passed on to our sponsors or to 3rd parties that have been engaged by us for use in areas such as printing, catering, travel etc or to any other agencies or persons if lawfully authorised or required to do so. Your information will not be sold to other 3rd parties.
