Cairns Super Carnival - Refund Policy

At the Cairns Super Carnival, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for all attendees. We understand that circumstances may change, and as such, we have established the following refund policy:

1. General Refund Policy
• All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be provided except in accordance with the terms outlined below or as required by Australian Consumer Law.
• Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold for commercial purposes.

2. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
• If the event is cancelled by the organisers, ticket holders will be entitled to a full refund.
• If the event is rescheduled, ticket holders may either use their ticket for the new date or request a full refund within 14 days of the rescheduling announcement.

3. Weather Policy
• The event will proceed rain or shine unless weather conditions pose a safety risk.
• If the event is cancelled due to extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances, ticket holders will be offered the option of a refund or a credit towards a future event.

4. COVID-19 & Public Health Restrictions
• If government restrictions prevent the event from taking place, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund or credit for future use.
• If a ticket holder is unable to attend due to a positive COVID-19 test or mandated isolation, a refund request may be submitted with supporting documentation. Requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Refund Request Process
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@cairnsjockeyclub.com.au
• Requests should include the ticket confirmation number, the full name of the ticket purchaser, and the reason for the request.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval and issued to the original payment method.

6. No-Show Policy
• No refunds will be provided for non-attendance.
• Late arrivals will not be entitled to a refund or partial refund.

7. Third-Party Ticket Purchases
• If tickets were purchased through an authorised third-party vendor, refund requests must be directed to that vendor, and their policies will apply.
