Thank you for being part of CAKECON Sydney! To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, all attendees must acknowledge and agree to the following conditions prior to entry.

1. Participation
I understand that CAKECON is a community event where attendees bring cakes to share.
I acknowledge that my attendance and participation are voluntary and undertaken entirely at my own risk.

2. Food Safety & Allergies
I acknowledge that cakes at CAKECON are prepared by both home bakers and professional bakers.
I understand that CAKECON cannot guarantee that any food is free from allergens, including (but not limited to) nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, or other allergens.
I accept full responsibility for assessing whether any food I choose to consume is safe for me.
I agree that I will not hold CAKECON, its owners, organisers, employees, volunteers, or the venue liable for any allergic reaction, illness, injury, or medical issue arising from food consumption.

3. Personal Responsibility
I confirm that I am an adult capable of making my own decisions regarding my health and participation.
I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to determine whether this event is suitable for me.
I accept full responsibility for supervising any children or guests under my care at all times.

4. Photography & Media Consent
I understand that photography and filming will take place during the event.
I consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded, and I grant CAKECON permission to use these images or recordings for promotional, marketing, and media purposes across all platforms.
If I do not wish to be photographed or filmed, I will notify the CAKECON team upon arrival so reasonable efforts can be made to accommodate my request.

5. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge CAKECON, its owners, organisers, employees, volunteers, and the venue from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my attendance or participation in the event, including (but not limited to) illness, injury, allergic reaction, loss, or damage, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
