All applications for sites allocated to Pipe Bands are to be made via the Games website melbournehighlandgames.org.au through TryBooking, with the Terms & Conditions accepted. Site allocation will be made by the Committee in the Pipe Band Area, and all allocations will be confirmed with the Pipe Band.

The right of occupation of a site at the event is a temporary licence. Occupation of the site will only be as a casual site holder during the event. The Committee has absolute discretion to grant or revoke this right at any time. Purchasing a site does not guarantee acceptance.

The actual location of the site at the event will be at the Committee’s discretion and may change from time to time. It is the Pipe Band’s responsibility to ensure their stall (including guide ropes and other attachments) fit on the site applied for and allocated to them. Pipe Bands not complying may, at the discretion of the Committee, be asked to comply or dismantle and remove their marquee or tent from the grounds.

Pipe Bands must take out and maintain adequate insurance at all times and a minimum $20 million Public Liability policy. A Certificate of Currency for Public Liability Insurance must be lodged with the notice of acceptance and invoice with the Committee.

The Committee will not be responsible for the site condition being affected by weather conditions.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.
