CODE OF CONDUCT & WAIVER AGREEMENT
PARRAS PRODUCTIONS
(For Participants and Parents/Guardians in NSW)

By reading below, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and Waiver Agreement.

1. Acknowledgement of Participation and Risk I hereby give permission for my child to participate in all classes, rehearsals, performances, and activities conducted by Parras Productions. I acknowledge that participation involves physical activity and may carry the risk of injury, illness, and/or property loss or damage. My child and I participate voluntarily and at our own risk.
2. Waiver and Release of Liability To the extent permitted by law, I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Parras Productions, its directors, officers, teachers, staff, contractors and affiliates from any and all liability for any injury, loss, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with participation in any Parras Productions activity. This waiver applies except to the extent such loss or damage is caused by the proven negligence of Parras Productions.
3. Medical Conditions and Emergencies I confirm that I have disclosed any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect my child’s participation in Parras Productions activities and will keep Parras Productions updated of any changes. In the event of an emergency, I authorise PPA staff to seek medical assistance for my child as deemed necessary and agree to cover any associated costs.
4. Use of Images and Promotional Consent I grant permission for Parras Productions to use my child’s image, video, or voice recordings in any promotional materials including print, digital, and social media formats. I assign all rights, title and interest in such materials to Parras Productions, with no compensation due to me or my child.
5. Withdrawal Notice and Fee Responsibility I understand that if my child intends to withdraw from the Mini Mermaids program , I must provide a minimum of two (2) weeks’ written notice via email and accept that fees and charges are not refundable.
6. Intellectual Property and Choreography Usage All choreography, routines, and creative content taught at Parras Productions are the intellectual property of Parras Productions Such content must not be performed, reproduced, or shared outside Parras Productions without express written permission. Upon leaving the studio, I agree not to use or disclose any Parras Productions content.
7. Name and Brand Use Restrictions I agree not to use the name “Parras Productions” or “Mini Mermaids” in any related branding in a way that misrepresents or causes confusion, or could harm the goodwill, reputation or legal standing of Parras Productions. I and my child agree to conduct ourselves respectfully and professionally when representing or affiliated with Parras Productions.
8. Fees and Concert Participation I understand that all classes and costume fees and pom poms must be paid in full upon registration. Fee’s are non-refunable.
9. Attendance and Fee Policy Fees are payable for all classes regardless of attendance. Parras Productions does not offer refunds for voluntary absences or involuntary absences such as illness, injury, or family emergencies, even where a medical certificate is provided.
11. Studio Safety and Conduct - Students must not play in or around the studio car park. - Parents/guardians are responsible for escorting children to and from the studio safely. - Children must be picked up immediately after class. - No food or drink (except water) is permitted inside the studio. Strictly no soft drinks. Any damages to studio property caused by Parents/Students/Unsupervised Children will be at the full expense of the relevant Parent or Guardian.

12. Code of Conduct All Parras Productions students, parents, and affiliated persons must always behave in a respectful and professional manner when wearing “Mini Mermaids” uniform, attending classes, events, or representing Parras Productions and “Mini Mermiads” in any capacity.
