Terms and Conditions
Cancellation of registration deadline: 7 September 2026, 5pm (AEST)
Cancellations must be notified in writing (email is sufficient) to the Tech Summit events coordinator (events@wesnet.org.au).
Cancellations made by 7 September 2026 will result in a full refund, less AUD100 to cover administration costs.
Alternatively, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty. The tech Summit events coordinator must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers of registrations.
After 7 September 2026, cancelled registrations will only be refunded in exceptional circumstances, as assessed by the Hosts on a case-by-case basis.
Wesnet may consider refunds beyond this date for international delegates whose Visa is rejected. International delegates are urged to apply early for a visa as the approval process can take some weeks. Refunds are not granted for visas that are not granted due to late application by the delegate.
Payment
Payment of any applicable attendance fees at the time of registration via online credit card. Payment by invoice may be requested by contacting the Events Coordinator.
Tech Summit postponement
In the event that the Tech Summit is postponed, all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new dates. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Tech Summit events coordinator to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund, which will incur an AUD100 administration fee up until the registration cancellation deadline.
NOTE: Wesnet is not responsible for reimbursement of any re-paid flight, accommodation or travel costs incurred (including flights and VISA applications).
Tech Summit cancellation
In the event the Tech Summit is cancelled, all registrations will be cancelled, and amounts refunded in full.
NOTE: Wesnet is not responsible for reimbursement of any pre-paid flight, accommodation or travel costs incurred (including VISA applications).
