Ride Conduct & Safety Expectations
• Riders & event vehicles must maintain their position within the ride group from the moment they leave the start point.
• The route is suitable for riders & drivers of all skill levels, following normal driving & group‑riding etiquette.
• Most turns along the route are planned as left‑hand turns to minimise disruption to traffic flow. Where needed, turns will be clearly marked with signage or supported by a corner marshal.
• All participants must demonstrate respectful ride behaviour that reflects positively on the organisers, the purpose of the ride, fellow participants, and our supporters.
• Riders must follow all road rules and practice share‑the‑road behaviour, showing courtesy to all other road users.
Where two lanes are available, all participants will use the left lane only, allowing uninterrupted through flow for general traffic
• For those entering the Best Dressed Bike & Rider competitions:
– Your competition entry ticket is attached to the lanyard provided at registration.
– Please wear your lanyard around your neck or keep it clearly visible upon returning to Speers Point Park.
– You will be directed to the designated competition parking and display area.
