Edinburgh College Basketball Holiday Camps – Terms & Conditions
By registering an athlete for an Edinburgh College Basketball Holiday Camp, parents/guardians acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility & Registration
Camps are open to athletes within the specified age groups for each camp.
All abilities are welcome.
Places are limited to 30 athletes per camp and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
2. Camp Dates & Times
Camps run from 10:00am – 2:00pm on the advertised dates.
Athletes should arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in and be collected promptly at the conclusion of each day.
Late pick-ups may result in additional supervision fees.
3. Payment & Refund Policy
The camp fee is $125 per athlete for the 2-day camp.
All payments must be made in advance.
Refunds will not be provided for change of mind, non-attendance, or partial attendance.
In the event an athlete is unable to attend due to illness or injury, a credit may be offered at the discretion of the organisers, provided notice is given prior to the camp.
If the camp is cancelled by the organisers, a full refund or credit will be provided.
4. Cancellations & Program Changes
Edinburgh College reserves the right to cancel or modify sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to illness, venue availability, or low enrolment.
Any changes will be communicated via the contact details provided at registration.
5. Health, Medical & Safety
Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or relevant health information at the time of registration.
Athletes must be physically capable of participating in basketball activities.
In the event of injury or illness, staff will provide appropriate first aid and contact parents/guardians as required.
Parents/guardians consent to emergency medical treatment if required.
6. Supervision & Behaviour
Athletes are expected to behave respectfully toward coaches, staff, and other participants at all times.
Any athlete displaying unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may be removed from activities or the camp at the discretion of the coaching staff.
No refunds will be provided if an athlete is removed due to behavioural concerns.
7. What to Bring
Athletes must bring:
Suitable basketball footwear
Comfortable training clothes
A drink bottle
Lunch and snacks
Edinburgh College is not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
8. Photography & Media
From time to time, photos and videos may be taken during the camp for promotional and marketing purposes.
By registering, parents/guardians consent to the use of images and footage of their child unless otherwise advised in writing prior to the camp.
9. Liability Waiver
Participation in the camp involves physical activity and carries a risk of injury.
Edinburgh College, its staff, coaches, and affiliates will not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation, except where required by law.
Parents/guardians acknowledge participation is at their own risk.
