CLUB RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

BIKE SIZE REQUIREMENTS
QUADS
4 -8 yr olds - Up to 50cc
8-12 yr olds - Up to 125cc 4 stroke, 90cc 2 stroke
12-16 yr olds - Up to 300cc 4 stroke, 200cc 2 stroke
16 and above - any capacity

TWO WHEELERS
4-8 yr olds - Up to 50cc
8-12 yr olds - Up to 150cc or 4 stroke equivalent
12-16 yr olds - Up to 250cc 4 stroke
16 and above - Any capacity


1. RISKS
A) Ride at your own risk
B) AMBULANCE COVER is MANDATORY. No liability is accepted by Club or any of the committee.

2. MEMBERSHIP
A) All riders must have a current season membership. One-Day Memberships are available.
B) There is no riding at the track without a membership or day pass.
C) Any members found to be allowing non-member(s) to ride will have their membership revoked without refund.

3. BEHAVIOUR
A) There is to be no abuse between members, spectators and / or officials, membership may be revoked and other penalties may apply.
B) No alcohol in pit area and no BYO during licensed events.
C) No consuming alcohol whilst riding or riding under the influence.

4. SAFETY
A) Nerf bars, kill switches and bar ends are to be installed and working on quads over 50cc.
B) All bikes to be in safe working order.
C) Helmets and riding boots are to be worn at all times whilst on bikes.
D) A sight lap of the track should be undertaken before riding, to make sure the track is safe and there is no debris or damage to the track.
E) Bikes are to be ridden at walking pace through pit area. The pit area comprises all areas outside of the designated tracks.
F) No persons to be crossing the track, while riding is in progress.
E) Never ride on your own or without someone nearby. Make sure someone always knows where you are.
F) Riding with pillion passengers is not permitted at the club.
G) Refuelling is not permitted on the tracks.

5. FIRE BANS
A) No riding when temperatures are above 38 degrees, this is a fire risk and machinery bans are often in effect within the Shire of Gingin.
B) Strictly no fires from 1st November to 30th April (ban period can be extended by shire).

6. TRACK USE
A) Members are responsible for unlocking and locking the gate behind them, upon entry and exit.
B) Riding hours are 8am to 5pm. There is no riding at night unless part of a club run event.
C) Riding on marked tracks only - not on access roads or in carpark.
D) Camping is only permitted with express permission from the Committee.
E) One indicated direction at all times on the tracks.
F) Members are not to touch the generators, pumps, pipes, retic or use kitchen areas. These areas are accessed and managed by the committee only.

7. CHILDREN RIDING AT CLUB and SUPERVISION
A) All persons under the age of 18 are to be accompanied by an adult member of their family and to be supervised by parent or guardian at all times.
B) No Juniors (under 300cc 4 stroke/200cc 2 stroke) are to ride on the track at speed with Seniors, except during approved events (during which they must wear a high visibility vest).
C) AGE RESTRICTIONS are to be adhered to at all times.
D) No riders or passengers on motorized vehicles under the age of 4 years (4 is the minimum riding age of ATVWA members)
E) Do not allow your children to cut the tracks, especially the Supercross.
F) If juniors cannot ride up the bridge or navigate other obstacles they do not belong on the track.
G) Only enter and exit the Kids track at the correct entry and exit.

8. JUNIORS AND SENIORS
A) It is important to undertake a site lap, at a low speed, for all riders, checking for any hazards including junior riders already using the track. This is especially of importance on the MX track where riders are not always fully visible from the pits.
B) No seniors riding at speed on track until confirming tracks are cleared of hazards and junior riders.
C) Juniors are permitted to ride on all tracks – it is a shared facility; and senior members must give right of way to junior members until they have cleared the track.
D) No seniors bikes to ride on kids track – Supervising parents to be on foot.

8. ANIMALS AND LIVESTOCK
A) You must give way to all native animals and livestock.
B) NO DOGS are permitted on the property, which is a requirement of our lease with the shire.
9. CARING FOR THE CLUB
A) Place all rubbish in the bins provided or take home if bins are full.
B) There are to be no modifications to the track by members.
C) Please lock all gates, toilets and close top water tank valves when leaving.
D) Report any track damage/defects, building damage or vandalism to the committee immediately.
E) Please report any suspicious people or behavior to the committee immediately.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS, DANGERS AND OBLIGATIONS

I acknowledge that motorcross sport, practicing and racing is dangerous and that being a financial member of the Woodridge ATV & MX Social and Racing Club WA by attending the clubs premises / track or events and engaging in motocorss riding, practice, coaching or racing, I take and am exposed to certain risks and dangers that are my own, whether hidden or exposed or otherwise.

I accept all the risks and dangers, whether hidden or exposed or otherwise and I participate solely at my own risk.

I acknowledge the risks, dangers and obligations include but are not limited to:
1. I may be injured physically or mentally and may be killed.
2. My equipment may be damaged or destroyed.
3. Other competitors may ride dangerously or with lack of skill.
4. The Track or event conditions may be hazardous or may vary without warning or predictability.
5. The organisers may be obliged to make decisions under pressure.
6. My life insurance policies may be invalidated.
7. That there maybe no or inadequate facilities for treatment or transport of me if I am injured.
8. I have an obligation to myself and others to ride safely and within club rules and to encourage my fellow members to do the same.
9. I am responsible to hold a current ambulance cover policy at all times during my membership.
10. I am responsible to uphold the club rules, terms and conditions at all time and if I am found to breach them my membership will be revoked without refund.

INDEMNITY GIVEN TO THE WOODRIDGE ATV&MX SOCIAL AND RACING CLUB INC.
AND CONTRACT EXCLUDING LIABILITY

In consideration of the acceptance of me personally as a member of the Woodridge ATV & MX Social and Racing Club Inc., I agree to indemnify and release from all liability the Woodridge ATV & MX Social and Racing Club Inc., its members and officials, servants or agents, authorities which own, occupy or manage the land on which motorcycling takes place In the following manner:

1.That I participate at all times solely at my own risk and responsibility.
2.That I accept all venues as they stand with all or any defects, whether hidden or exposed.
3.That I have an obligation to myself and to others to ride safely and within the rules.
4.That I agree to indemnify and release from all liability the Woodridge ATV &.MX Social and Racing Club Inc., its members and associated servants or agents against any actions or claims which maybe made by me or on my behalf for in respect or arising out of my death or any injury, loss or damage caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other manner whatsoever.
