Terms & Conditions:
1. It is a condition of booking that you agree not to copy or share the content of the workshop or materials provided during the workshop, with anyone outside the workshop.
2. You agree not to film or otherwise record this workshop.
3. You agree to respect the confidentiality of the other participants and organisers, including but not limited to, taking photographs or videos or sharing anything of a personal nature that another person at the retreat may have revealed.
4. The retreat is open to anyone age 18 and over. In order to ensure safeguarding, we reserve the right to ask participants to verify their age when registering on the first day.
5. The organisers will, at their discretion, ask anyone who causes disruption, disturbance or distress, or who any way shows disrespect to other individuals, the group, the hosts or the teachers to leave the retreat immediately.
6. You agree to take responsibility for your own welfare and be mindful of other’s people’s. You are responsible for your inner experiences and will seek any support if needed.
7. This ticket is proof of payment for participation in the above event and must be presented at the time of admission.
8. This ticket is non-transferable and only one place is valid per ticket purchased.
9. This ticket has been created and managed using the TryBooking site and is also subject to the Terms and Conditions of TryBooking
10. The Event Organiser hosting this event, is solely responsible for all issues relating to the sale of tickets. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact the host, using the link on the programme information page.
11. Any data collected for marketing purposes from this event will be strictly in accordance with the Privacy of Information Act.
Cancellation Policy
If you have to cancel:
• If you cancel more than two months before the start of the workshop, you will receive a full refund less a $10 admin fee.
• If you cancel between two months and one month before the start of the workshop, we will refund 75% of your ticket.
• If you cancel between one month and one week before the start of the workshop, we will refund 50% of your ticket.
• If you cancel less than one week before the start of the workshop, any refund will be at the discretion of the workshop organiser/s.
• If you cancel after the workshop has commenced, we are unable to refund any of your payment.
• On any refund made to a credit/debit card there is a fee of $5.
If we have to cancel the workshop:
• The organisers reserve the right to cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or low numbers. In such eventuality we will notify you no less than one week before the start date of your workshop.
• In such an event we will refund the full fees that you paid for the workshop.
• You may, upon request, apply monies paid to another workshop organised by Understanding Animals or by Skerrett Equine, subject to there being space on that workshop. You agree to pay the difference between this workshop and the new workshop. In the case of the new workshop costing less, you will receive a refund for the difference.
Liability
All information included in any of our publicity is correct at time of going to press, and is subject to change. Whilst every effort is made to provide the workshops and services as advertised, we do not accept liability for:
• Cancellations or changes caused by unavailability of staff, low bookings, weather conditions, maintenance work, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, or any situations beyond our control or subsequent to participation in one of our programmes.
• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
• The Event Organisers shall have no liability to the customer/student for any claim in respect to the training.
• Information shared in this workshop is not intended to be a replacement for veterinary advice. Please consult a trusted qualified veterinarian in regard to medical issues or for medical advice for any animal/s.
• You acknowledge that animals you encounter during the workshop may be nervous within a group setting. As a participant you have been made aware of this and take full responsibility for your interactions with them and for the safety of others that may be affected by your actions. You acknowledge that any close contact with an animal is at your own risk.
• You hereby release and hold harmless Jacqueline Buckingham, Ben skerrett, Understanding Animals, Skerrett Equine, the event hosts, their business and associates from liability due to accident or damage to self or animal, and/or property, and from loss of property during this workshop.
Attending this workshop denotes acceptance of these terms and conditions and acceptance of this release of liability.
