Lockers on Clayton campus
Please read the terms and conditions below before proceeding.
An admin fee of $10 (non-refundable) and a refundable deposit of $40 is payable for all lockers. At the end of semester, your $40 refund will be transferred back into the same bank account from which it was paid, providing you have handed in your key and cleaned out the locker before the specified refund date. Staff will inspect the locker before processing the refund.
The 2025 locker return date is 28 November 2025.
- All keys must be returned and items removed from the locker on the specified return date, if you wish to receive your $40 refund.
- Electronic lockers will be opened and have the codes reset on the return deadline date. Your locker must be cleared by that date. The MGA takes no responsibility for your personal items. Personal items left in lockers will be thrown away, recycled or donated.
- Once you have booked a locker an email will be sent to you explaining what you need to do to collect your key/set your code. Lockers are available from week 1 of Semester 1 until the end of semester 2.
- You must retain the same bank account and bank card in order for your refund to be processed
- If your locker has a key, you must bring your student ID with you when returning your key and claiming your refund.
Conditions of Use
1. Only 1 locker can be booked per student
2. Lockers are $10 for the year plus a refundable deposit of $40 is payable via the Trybooking website for all lockers.
3. Lockers are for the use only of the student who has booked the locker
4. Locker passcodes are handed out by the MGA staff at the Clayton MGA office (level 1 campus centre).
5. The locker must be emptied and cleaned before the locker return dater and staff at the MGA office need to be notified in order to receive your refund. Failure to do so will forfeit the deposit amount of $40
6. No food or drink is to be placed or stored in the locker
7. No dangerous goods including inflammable items are to be placed or stored in the locker
9. The deposit will be refunded electronically through the Trybooking system into the same account used for paying the deposit.
Breach of conditions of use: Any breach of the conditions of use or any other inappropriate use of lockers will amount to an immediate suspension of use with the MGA reserving the right to change the lock without prior notice and to retain the deposit.
Damage of Locker: If the locker is not fit for use due to damage, destruction or not fit for purpose due to unhygienic condition, the $40 deposit will be retained by MGA and used for cleaning or restoration purposes without prior notice.
MGA reserves the right to have the lockers opened by security without prior notice whether required to do so by the university or third party pursuant to any legislation or not.
Liability: MGA makes no warranties and does not indemnify students from and against any and all liability, losses, actions, proceedings, claims, demands, damages and costs (including legal costs) arising out of the use of any locker by the student or any third party.
