Participant Waiver and Release of Liability
I acknowledge that participation in Restival Retreat may include activities such as yoga, breathwork,
meditation, movement practices, workshops, massage, bodywork, hot and cold therapies such as sauna and other wellness or therapeutic sessions (collectively, “Activities”).
I understand that these activities involve physical movement, emotional processes, and relaxation
practices that carry inherent risks. As with any physical or wellbeing activity, the risk of injury including
serious or disabling injury cannot be entirely eliminated. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any
risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I may incur as a result of participating in the
Activities.
I agree to listen to my body at all times. If I experience pain, discomfort, dizziness, distress, or any unusual
symptoms, I will immediately cease or modify the activity and seek support from the instructor or
therapist.
I understand that the Activities offered at Restival Retreat are not a substitute for medical advice,
examination, diagnosis, or treatment. I acknowledge that certain medical or mental health conditions may
make participation unsuitable. I confirm that I am solely responsible for consulting a medical practitioner
prior to participation if required, and for determining whether I am fit to participate.
I agree to inform Restival Retreat and the relevant instructor or therapist of any pre-existing injuries,
medical conditions, pregnancy, or health concerns that may affect my participation. If my health condition
changes prior to or during the retreat, I agree to notify the organisers immediately.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and discharge Restival Retreat, its founder Zev
Tropp & Samantha Mastine, all event organisers, instructors, facilitators, therapists, contractors, employees and
volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions or causes of action arising out of or connected with
my participation in the Activities, except where caused by gross negligence or unlawful conduct.
I acknowledge that I participate voluntarily and at my own risk.
