Terms and Conditions  −  Winter Artisan Market Stall Holder Booking 2026

* Handmade stalls are the heart of our market. All market stalls will be curated by The Cottage Committee to ensure a balanced selection of stalls.
* The Stall Holder need to have their own Public Liability Insurance or be a Brooklyn Community Association (BCA) Member or Associate Member to be covered by the BCA’s public liability insurance. See Insurance section in Booking Form.
* The Cottage will provide an allocated 3mx3m space for the stall.
* Stall Holder to provide their own table, chair, umbrella/marquee however The Cottage can provide a limited amount of tables for use at $20 each.
* Stall Holder is responsible for setting up and dismantling their stall.
* Stall Holder is responsible to clean & return any Cottage items used.
* Stall Holders are responsible for any loss or damage to their wares.
* The Cottage cannot provide storage for any wares or non-Cottage furniture.
* Stall Holder is responsible for any promotion however The Cottage will promote via social media if suitable photo/blurb is provided.
* Stall Holder can have use of The Cottage kitchen and bathroom amenities.
* No alcohol, smoking, vapes and no open flames on Council grounds.
* Stall Holder Fee is non refundable. In the case of wet weather, your $25 fee will be held in credit for a future market. Any refund will be at the discretion of The Cottage Committee.
* Any profit from sales goes to the Market Stall Holder. The Market Stall Holder is responsible for managing all sales.
* Fresh produce, preserves, honey in jars (but no open comb) are okay to sell. Prepared food must be individually wrapped for sale. No food that requires refrigeration or heating at the market to be sold unless an approved application form from the Council has been obtained and this form must be provided to The Cottage Committee prior to the market day.
* Set up on market day is at 8am for a 10am start. No parking at The Cottage or in driveway due to constant bus traffic. Markets goods to be unloaded and car removed immediately.
* Pack up time is from 3pm only.

** By booking a stall via purchasing a ticket, you agree to the terms and conditions and to receive information about the Event by email from the Event Organiser.
