Refund Policy

There are limited criteria under which a refund may be granted.
No refund will be granted:
 Unless GAA SA Division withdraws the short course due to teaching staff illness or
insufficient numbers in which case a full refund will be provided; or
 if the short course has already commenced the full fee is payable.
All requests for refunds must be submitted by writing prior to the course commencement
date.

Student initiated refunds

Refunds will not be granted automatically. You are expected to be aware of your work and
personal commitments before you enrol, and will need to demonstrate that the cause of
withdrawal could not be reasonably anticipated before you enrolled.

A full refund will be given if you:
- Withdraw before 7 days the date of commencement of the relevant short course.
An administration fee of 50% of the short course fee will apply if a request to withdraw is
made within 2 Business Days of the short course start date. If the short course start date
has already passed, we are not obliged to provide a refund at all.
A 50% refund will be given if you withdraw for reasons of personal circumstances beyond
your control, after the relevant short course has started.

Acceptable reasons may include:
- sickness (verified by a medical certificate)
- change of employment hours or location (verified by employer)
- other valid reason at the discretion of the delegate (exceptional circumstances).
We require that you provide your withdrawal or request for any refunds in writing (including
email).
Refunds will only be credited to the original funding source (eg credit card), or via other
means as approved by GAA SA Division. 

GAA SA Division initiated refunds

Where a refund results from a situation caused by GAA SA Division e.g. cancelled short
course, a full refund of the fees will be given

Refund Procedure

If a refund is sought, it must be made to the Education Officer in writing, (email accepted).
A refund will only be enacted when approved by the Education Officer. When approved,
the Education Officer will refund via the means the course was paid for.
If the request is made prior to two days before the course commencement, a full refund is
payable.
If the request is made within two days of the course commencement, 50% of the course
fees are payable
If the course has already commenced, no refund is payable.


TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
